There's an awesome grill for a minimal amount of money. What an amazing deal for such an amazing duel there’s an awesome grill for a minimal amount of money. What an amazing deal for such an amazing dual  barbecue. Got good service this summer and I'm looking forward to using it in the winter. Definitely would recommend.

Absolutely love this grill. Its taking some practice to use the charcoal side since im not used to using charcoal. But i love the option of using either side. Easy to control the heat on both side. Quality of the grill is out of this world. Very heavy duty.

This is the third Char-Grill Grill I’ve purchased over the years, assembled and used and I’m not disappointed! This is a solid grill with quality parts. The instructions were for the most part easy to “read”. I say read in quotations because there were no words with the diagrams. This is fine as for myself-and most men-I do t read them anyway. There was one point where the brackets to hold the grease tray were hard to make out as to which way they faced. I had a 50/50 chance at getting it right and found out rather quickly in a subsequent step that I had then reversed. Not a huge deal as this often happens when assembling anything. It takes about an hour and a half to assemble which was a bit longer than the cover page stated, but that’s a given in most assembly instructions. Was able to run to the hardware store and purchase a tank for $65 (which most grills anymore do not come with the empty tank. It saves on the price of the grill I’m sure). and begin grilling right away. The burners heat up quickly and evenly. Food was cooked to perfection and I am confident it’s the beginning of many years of use.

Char-Grill Does Not Disappoint! A Loyal Customer

AMAZING! Thank God we bought dual, When we are in hurry we use gas, when we have time and wanna enjoy our bbq we use charcoal part. Amazing quality. Recommend 100%. It doesnt come with cover or some other little stuff like chimney, heat resistant gloves etc so you need to buy them extra

Truly amazing

This is my second Char-Griller Dual Fuel grill. My wife sold my first one in favor of a Weber propane grill, which was badly damaged when we moved. When my wife suggested we buy a replacement, I knew I only wanted a Char-Griller! I've always appreciated having the propane/charcoal option and being a 3-burner propane for less money than the 2-burner sold at Home Depot kind of makes the choice obvious.

A Great Grill at a Reasonable Price!

This grill is amazing!! The only negative about it is the assembly manual is very poorly out together. Mostly pictures with letter labels but the actual parts do not have matching letter labels. So you have to look through all the pieces to find what may or may not look like the item. We ended up looking on YouTube

Great but…

I’ve owned three previous Char-Griller grills and I have to say the quality on this one is the best of them all. Everything goes together well and the finish is really good. I would have given them 5 stars except the grill grate tool to lift the hot grates out was NOT included with this one! Also the last grill I bought had porcelain coated grates. This one has plain cast iron so they are going to rust very soon! Lastly, as with all my previous grills, I purchased the cover from Char-Griller through WalMart. This one fit terrible! Someone must have sewn this one in the dark.  I tried to return it but I have to drive about 30 miles to the nearest FedEx drop off location (none closer!) Even though there are two WalMarts within minutes I was told I have to drop it off at FedEx to return it. Not happy with that! So, include the grill grate tool like before, coat the grates and fix the cover issues and you get 5 stars!

Great but not so “Grate”!

I've had this brand twice now. Bottom line, it's a great grill with the hemispherical design, but it's relatively cheaply made. I wrote to Char Griller after my first grill with them and said I'd be happy to buy another one and even pay three times the price, if they made it in stainless steel (to last), like some Weber grills, but no, it's the same model and quality of construction that I had six years ago. Honestly, I can't quite fathom this Georgia based company's philosophy when they have a winner on their hands - it's just stupidity not to raise the bar when you have a successful product. But then again, here I am buying a grill at a base price-point, so who's the dummy?!?

Former Buyer - Buyer Again...

The Good:
1)All the pieces was there
2) It works as intended
3) Price is decent for dual grill

The Bad:
1) Instruction booklet is out of order , had different languages mixed up through the book.
2) Grill is flimsy 
3) Tank holder is could be built better. 
4)Wheels Wobble side to side 

But the most important thing is it works!

You get what you pay for

I bought this model several years ago, but with a side burner and firebox. Over the years, it served me well. Unfortunately the bbq grilling barrels harware corroded, you can't get key replacement parts from the manufacture - they don't ship to Canada - and when I attempted to replace parts - my daughter lives stateside so she brought the parts with her when she visited me - everything was so corroded, using a grinder only madeca bad situation worse. 
My next solution was to replace the whole main unit, swap the firebox and griller onto the new unit and voila, a new 'Texas Trio Griller'.
Well, I got/picked up my order, went to assemble it the very next day, the package containg the hardware - screws, bolts, washers etc., was empty. 
So Walmart wants me to repackage the unit, return it and reorder a new one. A new one ships out in one to two months. There goes the remainder of bbq season! 
Now i have contacted the manufacturer who will supposedly send me the hardware, because I purchased it through Walmart Canada. Again, supposedly, it will take two to three weeks to ship. 
My suggestion is, don't buy a Char Griller and definitely don't rely on Walmarts customer service for any real help.
