This hamster playground is a lovely little accessory that really elevates a dollhouse setup and makes it feel more lived-in and believable. The pieces are sturdy, the wheel actually rolls, and the small hamsters are well made with no sloppy details or loose edges. It fits well alongside other Barbie pieces without feeling oversized or flimsy. If you want something that gives the dollhouse more personality and makes the environment look less plain and more like a real “home,” this does the job nicely.

My helpful tip: Remind kids to roll the wheel gently so it lasts longer and doesn’t loosen over time.

Fun set that adds charm to the dollhouse.

This is one of the few pet related items for Barbie and her family that they have made. Several years ago they made an aquarium that moved, bird in cage, hamster and Guinea pig pens and houses and lots of cats and dogs that would bark or meow or shake their tails. All of them were very interactive and fun for kids and the adults, too! Kids now don’t have a chance to play and take care of pets or animals that are so important for children’s development. Reminds us to reconnect with nature and animals instead of social media and video games!

Pets for Barbie’s family are fun!

This is adorable!! For a gift to someone who loves hamsters and guinea pigs they were so excited. Great value set for the money, cute little accessories to play with.  Honestly as an adult who loves these pets, I loved it as well haha

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it! I ordered this on Walmart website. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and just how adorable it was in person. Such attention to detail.

I got this for my 3 year old nephew because he has been begging his parents for a pet. I thought it would be a little bigger and the accessories would actually attach to the base but he loved it played for hours

This is an adorable gift for any Barbie pets lover! I wasn’t specifically looking for this but when I came across it I had to get it for the Barbie pets enthusiast in my life. Very unique and fun!

Pet Lovers Will Enjoy

﻿﻿Love the idea of an hamster play set.  But as usual the set is very height challenged, like they could not decide which doll size it was going to be used for.  I did notice that on back of a latest Barbie World play set features the various play-sets that they did feature the hamster set up on top of a cabinet (cabinet not included of course nor stamped that way on advertising)!

A ‘Pet Peeve’ of mine getting Barbie furniture that is not even tall enough for a Barbie!  Sure enough the ad usually features Barbie standing inches away in the picture, so that the furniture piece looks as tall as the Barbie doll.  Very mis-leading advertising!!!!  On back of this package does show it up on the cut off blue cabinet alone side Barbie.  

If it is sized for a Kelly or Chelsea doll then it should state that on the package.  So I had to down rate this for this reason.  Plus it will be challenging to find just the right size and height piece of furniture for raising up for Barbie’s height, even skipper.  So basically the customer must make their own piece of furniture or just use in a Kelly setting.

I do like that the playset comes with 3 different color hamsters and that the hamsters wheel the hamster is permanently attached (otherwise the hamster always falls out).   Unfortunately, the little blue ladder has no way to stay in place, needed either holes in pink shelves or the customer must glue into place, it should have been fixed.

Sized for the small child dolls, not Barbie

It is an adorable little Barbie toy but I expcected it just a tad bit bigger. My fault for not reading throughly. My 5 yr old granddaughter will love it, even itty bitty sized ..you get what you pay for.

I know it’s a mini, but the accessories for it are way too small. Not suitable for small children.
