The set up is far more complicated than one would have thought. You just cant plug it in and it works. In order to work, you have to have an optical audio cable for the required input. The only function the little dongle has, is to propagate the sound via bluetooth. Thats why you have to have the audio input into the dongle.  As a point of clarification, i was working with a "non smart" TV.  What we wanted was to be able to get the sound whilst using Roku through head phones.  Once connected the sound is pretty good.  The one thing i really dont like is that the on/off switch is cumbersome.  You have to hold it for 3 seconds and hope that it turns on or off.  It often does not work and requires fiddling around with it.  I cant comment on the lasting power of the headphones as yet. The headset is reasonably comfortable.

Headband too large for my head. Cannot adjust smaller size. Rest is OK
