I like to drink cold milk in the evening while I'm watching t.v. or playing games on my tablet.  I  fill this up once  and it stays cold all evening.  The lid is a little tricky to get lined up right sometime so pay attention that you don't get it on crooked and dump your drink down your neck.  I did that once and now I'm careful to check that it's on straight.  Other than that, it's great.

My new 16oz Contigo Huron is the perfect size for my morning drinks whether its coffee or oj.  The drinking area closes to prevent leaks %26 it fits easily in my car cup holder.  I purchased black because I take it along with me everyday everywhere.   no spills in my bag at all.  i do rinse it after use to prevent lingering smells on the rubber seals.

Best Travel Mug Ever!

This is a duplicate purchase to replace the exact same cup my husband has used and abused for years.  He insisted on getting another of the exact same travel cup.  It goes everywhere with him. 
Washes easily and doesn’t leak, fits in his cup holder in his SUV.
Well worth the cost  and arrived in two days.

Travel coffee cup

This is our 4th Contigo cup. We have 3 of the larger size and now this 16 oz. The lids screw on securely and has a snap down lever for closing the drink hole. That is a great feature if you are juggling a lot of things on the way to your car, as it seals securely and you don't have to worry about spilling coffee on yourself if your cup tips. You can even carry it a coat pocket if needed without worry. 

These cups keep your coffee hot for a long time. We use our spare large ones as a thermos on longer trips. We spend many hours in the barn each day and these cups still keep your drink hot, even with cold ambient temps.

Keeps coffee hot for hours

This Contigo Huron 16oz travel mug met or exceeded nearly everything I was looking for in a travel mug.

Pros:
- Good feel in hand (but see con below)
- Easy one-handed lid latch can be opened for drinking (and resealing) with a flick of a pointer finger
- Completely leak-proof when lid latch closed
- Maintains good temperature for hot or cold beverages
- Reasonably easy to clean lid mechanism
- Stylish design fits in most car cup holders
- Nearly indestructible with constant daily use
- Very good value for the money

Cons:
- All-metal barrel construction can be slippery (I improvised a better grip by sliding three 7/8" rubber "stretchy" bracelets to the center of the barrel - see photo)

Highly-rated (9.5 out of 10) Contigo Travel Mug

Perfect size. Doesn't leak at all. Have thrown it full in my work bag many times and had zero leaks. Keeps drinks cold/hot. Have flown across the country multiple times with this. Definitely recommend.

I bought contigo mugs from costco and they were great. I wanted more that I could throw in in my lunch kit or handle being knocked on its side without leaking. I bought 2 of these for my morning coffees and 1 for my girlfriend. 1 of the 2 that I use leaks from the pivot mechanism and was able to empty half the contents in my lunch before I realized it had happened. It seems to be coming out of the center of the lid and not where the ball and seal are (drinking edge). I'm super disappointed that the one isn't quality enough to hold fluids on it's side.

After only a few hand washes; the rubber piece to prevent leaking came undone. I would have to manually put it back on. The leaks still occurred. I wanted to return it but was unable to find the receipt. After the last leak, I threw it in the garbage!

There is no way I could open this travel mug one handed. It takes me two, every time. We buy  Contigo all the time and we really like them, but I will not buy another Contigo Huron. It is impossible for me to open without using two hands. Nice stainless interior. Who cares how efficient it is if you can’t get the darn thing open??
