Ratings & Reviews+

Silk True Almond® Vanilla Almond Beverage is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Silky Smooth Taste You Won't Love Recently purchased a carton that states "New Silky Smooth Taste You'll Love" and I certainly do not love it, as a matter of fact I can't stand it. As others have stated, it has no taste or texture compared to the old product and I will not be purchasing again. Who are the clowns that made this decision?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Original Almond Milk has been changed for the worse This used to be the only almond milk I could drink because all the others contain natural flavors, which can be derived from corn or gluten, both of which I can't eat. So someone in a board room, no doubt, decided that they could increase their profits by adding more chemicals. Now they're just selling the same almond milk that everyone else is selling. Look for the small sign in the upper left of the carton (refrigerated) that says something like "New, smoother taste". Then check the ingredients for "natural flavors". Fortunately, there are plenty of recipes online for making almond milk. Silk has permanently lost my business because of this ill-considered decision.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The new recipe is horrible I drink the original flavored Silk milk and have loved it. Loved being the operative word. This new recipe is watered down. Tastes like the generic version of what Silk used to taste like. I will not be buying this anymore until they go back to the real original recipe... very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Silky Smooth Taste What have you done? The taste has changed and it's not for the better!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was my favorite, but they changed the taste for the worst:/ This had been my favorite almond milk for years (I drink the original flavor). Unfortunately they just changed the taste (even advertised it as a good thing), and unfortunately I can't agree with their decision at all. Why mess with a good thing? It now tastes more like a vanilla flavor of some weird sort, and just "off" compared to the original texture and taste of what I'd come to expect and love about it. Sad to say I'm off to trying other brands, reluctantly:(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay It taste good. Its not very compatible with mixing. I prefer to make my own chocolate milk but Silk acquires a strange, mildy unpleasant texture. The taste is great though. I prefer Almond Breeze because of the texture issue I have with Silk but the past 4 cartons of Almond Breeze I bought were all already perished and sour so I switched to Silk because I knew it wouldn't have that issue.
