Ratings & Reviews+

Similac Alimentum Hypoallergenic Ready-to-use Infant Formula is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great formula, not so great packaging Our doctor recommended this formula for our 2 month old because he suffered from tummy aches and gas. Great formula, but considering you use about 5-6 cans in a day, I don't understand why they only seem to sell it in this 4-can format. At least we can regularly order 10 boxes at a time on Walmart.ca which saves us countless trips to the pharmacy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend I really recommend this formulas I tried almost every brand tried similac advence, enfamil, and good start nestle I kept switching because she was colicky and throwing up a bit but really often like every 10 min and December 2,2017 late at night almost midnight I buyt her simliac alimentum hypoallergenic ready to use infant formula and she been using this formula for one day now and I already saw results so fast now she's so relaxed, calm and not colicky and not throwing up that often it's just one day of using this so she probably will stop throwing up in a couple of days or tomorrow I took her to doctors and they all said she's fine she's probably just a bit colicky but I knew something wasn't right I'm so glad I found this branf of formula so happy with the results and great price but you guys should sell these in a lot of locations because it's a bit hard to find this formula and also should have ones that comes more in the box but rather then that I'm really happy thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well for my son Started using this when I noticed my son spitting up after drinking the cows milk formula (Enfamil). He has a cow milks sensitivity. This formula has been great but can be difficult to find in store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best price for a ready-to-feed formula This is the best price for a brand name ready-to-feed baby formula, just compare the price to Similac Advance ready-to-feed. My baby has no problems with the formula. Alimentum is whiter than Enfamil and has a strong odor, like rotten vegetables. The downside is the packaging. Inexplicably, it comes in cases of 4 and in pull-tab cans rather than the more convenient nipple-ready bottles of Similac Advance. It also does not have omega 3 & 6, if that is important to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful stuff The only thing our little one eats happily without fussing or bouts of gas afterwards. Tried every other formula imaginable as she is a fussy eater with a sensitive stomach. The premix is great and easy to use, the powder version of this formula didn't work as well because of clumps even with careful thorough mixing, it also does not have the unpleasant odour that the same product has in powder form.. Definitely a favourite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved CMPA Issues My baby has Cow's Milk Protein Allergy, and was having blood in his stools. I tried him on Nutramigen powdered formula, and it didn't help. I switched to Alimentum, and I'm not sure if it was the actual formula, or the fact that it was ready to serve instead of powdered (some babies cannot tolerate powdered formula), but within a week his symptoms were gone. It smells nasty, but since it's all he knows, he has no problem drinking it. Did not help much with his chronic vomiting, but he does vomit less often with this, and less of the feed.
