This is great face wash I use the exfoliating simple wash first for the deep clean but that always left my skin dry and irritated. Now I still use the exfoliator first and follow up with the refreshing gel. I also use it with my Clarisonic in replacement of the expensive gel wash Clarisonic sells. This is great. First product ever to not irritate my skin, and really leave my skin clean clear and blemish free!

Gentle on skin

I used to use Neutrogena Face Wash, which is also soap-free. I discovered this product, which does the same great job, but at much less cost. I travel a lot, and the bottle packs well and doesn't leak. And, you only need a tiny, tiny bit to thoroughly wash your face. I've been using my current bottle daily, and there's still some left after almost four months of use. Wonderful product, wonderful price. And, lasts forever.

Great, natural product that lasts!

I love it! It has not broke me out. My skin is very sensitive, everything breaks me out. But, this cleanser only has 5 ingredients. Which I did some research and they do not irriitate the skin. It does not dry out my skin, which is a big plus. I am going to continue to use this cleanser, I tried several others before this Cerave, Neutrogena and La Roche Posay and they all broke me out. If you have sensitive skin........try this cleanser.

Great cleanser for sensitive skin.

Everything face wash breaks my wife's skin out, except Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. This product feels great, keeps my and her skin clear and looking toned and great. I love it and it smells great too, not too perfumey, just clean.

Excellent for sensitive skin

Love this product! It is the only product that doesn't lather and dry out my skin, but still takes off every trace of makeup! Unfortunately, it has been discontinued and I can't find a replacement I like.

Love! But discontinued....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very light, it does not feel heavy and you don't need a lot of product. The lather is rich and you feel as if you skin is clean without a drying harsh feeling afterward. I know Simple is working, because I can see the difference in my skin.

I have very sensitive skin and I have a hard time using any new products on my face without having a reaction to them. Recently my forehead has been breaking out a lot and I have tried everything. I have been using this product for about a week now (in place of soap and acne treatment products) and I am very happy with the results. After one use the dryness of my skin improved and my face feels soft. I have not had any new breakouts on my forehead and my previous breakouts are clearing up. I hope that I can continue to use this product without having any adverse reactions because I really am loving it!!! I am so glad that this product was brought to the U.S. and it is very affordable!

SO FAR SO GOOD!!!

IMy skin has been so reactive since my mid twenties(acne, dryness etc), I think I have tried every cleaner--even "sensitive" and dermatologist recommended ones and haven't been really happy. Figured I would try "one more", I was happy with the price and the "simple" aspect and low amount of ingredients that are soap free. After using this for 3 weeks now, I am super happy! Skin tone is improved, my skin feels clean but not dried out. The texture reminds me of aloe vera, in a good soothin way, The cleaser removes my makeup VERY well, and I wear full eye makeup so I am impressed when all the mascara is off. All and all, a great product! Very happy I gave it a chance, can't wait to try other Simple products.

Great Product

I've tried almost every cleanser out there because I have acne and very sensitive skin, I usually have a reaction to everything I use and I need to stop using it, but using this product with in a week I saw results as my face started to heal and started to seem very smooth and soft. I can say I truly love this product!
I only gave 4 stars because I have a hard time finding it, usually I have to get this product online from other sites, by luck I found it on Walmart.com. Give it a try if u have sensitive acne oily prone skin, I think u will really like it. It doesn't dry out your face but I've noticed my face seems really clean when I'm done washing my face feels great! I also use the smoothing toner from simple I love that I think it helped clear my face and soothe it. I love their light moisturizers too, they never feel greasy or heavy just feel clean and soft :)

Good product

I've never had so much acne while using their entire line of products. I had to stop using......my face started to clear up after I stopped using.
