I bought this to use for my cats litter pan scooping.  With the discontinuance off the plastic shopping bags, I had to have an alternate plan. This is absolutely perfect!!  And there's NO odor.

This trash can is the right size for my small bathroom.  It looks great - very classy.  It seems to be sturdy construction, and it operates well.  It has a plastic bucket which fits inside.  The liner bag fits in the bucket so that the edge of the bag is not hanging outside of the can where it would be seen.   And the price is reasonable.

I am very pleased with my order. Great quality! inside there is a another small garbage can that is plastic. you can wash it out if you need to and great for cleanliness. better than I expected! I have a pup that loves to get into the bathroom garbage! so I thought these would be perfect to keep him out of our bathroom trash and two keep him safe!

This can is the perfect size for a bathroom. It is a slow/ quiet close which is nice.  The only thing that would make it better would be a no slip grip on the bottom. Its so small and light, it slides easily when empty.

I am nearly completely satisfied with my 4. 5 L Round Step Can. It meets my need for a small, convenient disposal site for stinky garbage now that I have begun using my larger Step Can on the floor to hold recycling. I'm simply taking larger trash out in other containers every day. But even this small amount of garbage gets smelly before the next day when I am ready to take it out to the garbage bin. I wish this can had the built-in holder in its lid in which to place the deodorant pods like my big can. I think that would solve the problem. Any chance of adding that to this product?

4. 5L Round Step Can review

simplehuman comes through again. Needed a small trash can with adequate storage for our condo bathroom. This fits right next to the toilet, has a soft open so the lid doesn't keep hitting and marking the wall (like the last one), and has a good capacity.

Perfect for our small bathroom

this thing is tiny, but due to pipes under kitchen sink etc. its just what I needed.  And it seems to be very well made and is cute.

We use this in our small bathroom and it is nice that it doesn't take up a ton of space. It's great at keeping animals out of the trash and doesn't slide around on the floor like other step cans have.

Perfect for small spaces

Overall, this trash can looks really nice and fits well in smaller spaces. The step pedal works smoothly, and the lid closes quietly, which I appreciate. My main issue is that you can see the trash bag around the edges, which takes away from the clean look. It would be much better if the design fully concealed the liner. Still a solid option, just not as polished as it could be.

It's really small. Thought it was the size of bathroom trashcan but it's about half that size and not really practical for anything. Price is way high, it's nothing special
