I bought this identical can roughly 15 years ago.  It was finally time to replace.  Since I use it in a roll out trash compartment, getting one the same size was important.  I looked at alternatives, but why change from something  that works for us?  It arrived quickly, just put the lid on and I was back in business.  Looking forward to not having to replace it for another 15 years

Great, durable, trash can

Exactly what we needed in the space we had kept our last one. It does help to have it wedged into a space, with other things on each side of it, to keep it stable. We just used the other one for the recycling bin, alongside it. It opens easily and closes slowly and locks the lid, when we have to leave the dogs home alone, which is a nice feature and well worth the price!

Fits our current needs better than expected!

This is the third trash can I have purchased. It is the best trash can I have ever owned. One is 10 years old and the lid still lifts up easily with the foot pedal. It is a great slim design that fits easily in our kitchen. The  grey color fits with many color pallets. Its worth the price for the quality and longevity. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Best trash can ever

Sturdy. Opens and closes smoothly. I haven't used it it where it fills completely, but might be slightly top-heavy.  I don't see that as a potential problem, however. as I empty bags far they reach that stage, and secondly, the shiny, sleek appearance will make up for it.

Perfect size and very convenient to use!  I wouldnt be any other type of kitchen waste can.  This is my second one and it looks perfect in my kitchen; as nice as a  waste basket can look!  It blends well will my other appliances and in no way looks tacky or stands out.  I love the ultra " look" and the hands-free feature!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is well-made, study and while it is plastic (which is what we wanted for our outdoor patio rather than something that could rust), it has a luxury look to it.

It's a garbage can, right ? Well if you are looking for one that isn't a crazy price and that is solid and not flimsy plastic this is the one.
It open every time with the foot lever and it has never warped.
Great Value Strong Flex 13 Gallon Trash bags fit this garbage perfectly, like they were made for each other. 
Also keeps in smells.

Best bang for the buck

This is a quality, slim trash can that can fit in tight spaces less than 11 inches.  That is exactly what we needed.  Big bonus is that we can use the 13 gallon trash bags with it.  All Simplehuman products seem to have good quality but the ones with the step pedal always seem to slide around when using it.  This little one is no exception.  It is frustrating to have to adjust the little bugger almost every other time it is used, but it does look nice, locks, and is what we were looking for.  High quality plastic trash can with some movement issues but generally we like it.  We'll have to come up with a solution for its wiggliness.

Slim but wiggly!

I'm keeping this trash can because I bought it and didn't open it until I moved. However, it does not live up to the brand. 
It's too lightweight...
It moves all over hard flooring when using, the lid flips open and affects the balance of of the whole container, the backside is exposed... It is just a very unstable container. 
I moved it to the garage and I am using the metal Simplehuman I had. I thought that it would be to big for the space in my new house but it fits well enough and it doesn't bounce all over when using...

Unstable Plastic Simple Human trash container

You need it. This is something that you shouldn't buy over the internet. I don't even know why they make these trash cams. Once you put the back liner and there's no room for trash, to put one thing, and they're soda can and it's time to empty. So the trash can out, because there is no more around. That's me not ridiculous, unfortunately. I'm not you know, what do you mean to my girl? Purifying, I'm very good at math, and when I saw it, the dimensions, I really didn't pay attention. It I was just looking for us, mom, try skin, and I don't. This was just way too small. I mean, I really yeah, I mean, maybe in a dollhouse. Like a little girl's playhouse, I i really, I really don't understand what you would use this for
