This bin was purchased be cause I had converted a room for a small kitchen.'This bin holds any door and the quality of the bin and bin bag help retain and refuse like tea leaves perfectly.I always use Simplehuman for bins and even my small rose gold mirror to put on my make up as I'm 60 and need assurance to see where I'm placing product.

It's a Bin. And it's 6 Litres

I purchased 5 step cans this fall, in various sizes. Each of them arrived in good condition. I am very pleased with them. Also, I was surprised each has a ten year warranty. To me it says their product is made to last. Also, the step cans, whether they were round, half circle, or one which has 2 bins, one for recycling and one for trash, all are beautiful and decorative.

This is a good sized can that fits neatly against the wall and is easy to bag. It was a replacement for a broken can--a prior model--and Simply Human deserves high praise for its diligence in honoring the warranty and communicating quickly and simply--get it, simply--on the options for replacement.

I absolutely love this little giant trash can! It's the perfect size for a medium to small bathroom. The white/steel is a great accent color; it's a clean classy look. The steel lid is fingerprint proof as advertised. It's the equivalent size of a 4oz trash can. It's a quiet soft open and close. Would purchase more for my other bathrooms. Thank you simplehuman!

Perfect Size

My cat kept knocking over my open trash can in the bathroom, so I got this step can to put a stop to his antics. That'll teach him

It's a rock solid can, and the step mechanism feels so much sturdier than anything else I've ever used. I feel like it will last a very long time, and the 10 year warranty is great.

Great for my bathroom!

Adequately sized for a medium bathroom toilet area. However, as one steps on it to open lid, it keeps moving back/sideways and gets too close to wall(s); preventing lid from fully opening. Note, this trash can needs some kind of guide or stand-off, that maintains adequate distance from wall(s), allowing lid to fully open.

Stand-off Missing

I like SH trash cans, as they are durable and overall, nice looking. I'm finding the step on the semi-round slow to open. I do mind the slow to close, but when I step on the foot pedal it takes a couple extra seconds to open fully-I'd like to just step, drop trash and be done, but I have to wait for the mouth to open completely.

Lid doesn't open very wide and the bin moves about quite a bit on our wooden floor each time you stand on the pedal compared to our last similar sized ‘cheapie' stainless steel bin which means it needs to be repositioned quite often. Overall it's ok, bit lightweight, nothing special.

This trash can works as advertised and is very sleek and pretty and very functional but I thought he'd be bigger. But no worries I'll just buy a bigger one I'm simplehuman all will be resolved. I love your products and I will continue to be a customer in years to come.

Smaller than i thought

I ordered 3 of the 6L semi-round step cans for a newly remodeled home. The cans would have been perfect except that 2 of them were dented--probably happened during shipping. They came in one box, which which would have been fine if there had been enough packing material to ensure the cans wouldn't shift and get dented. Disappointed.
