Very sleek and stylish. We have had this type of dispenser from simple human before and it finally gave out after a few years, I didn't mind buying another one because of the design. It looks  nice both in our bathrooms and our kitchen. Its functionality is perfect for both settings.

This purchase replaced the dispenser I got 3 years ago as a Christmas gift. The new version seems less bulky and the method of determining how much soap you get per "pump" makes more sense. Stops the arguing over how much soap should come out. Hopefully, the recharging feature will work longer.

I bought this pump as a gift for my wife. 
She loves it! Looks great in the bathroom, easy to use, easy to fill. And no adjustment for the amount of soap you want. Just position your hand near the nozzle for a small amount or lower your hand for more more. 
And a two year warranty. Another great product from Simplehuman.

Soap pump

First, I would like to speak on the great customer service that Simplehuman provides. The rechargeable dispenser I had stopped working. I reached out to Simplehuman about it, and not only did they respond to my email immediately, 2 days later I received a replacement, which means they stand by their warranty. I had their older model, and the replacement I received is different than I'm used to, in that instead of pushing a button to increase the amount of soap dispensed, with this model, you simply move your hand under the sensor. The further from the sensor, the more soap, closer to the sensor, less soap. I think this is pretty cool, but it took a second or two to adjust to the difference. Overall, I like the concept, my new dispenser and Simplehuman.

Different Than What I'm Used Too

I'm really happy with my replacement for the liquid sensor pump. The power button actually works along with seeing the blue and red lights coming on. Hopefully it will continue to work properly when it needs to be recharged. So far I'm very pleased with it.

I'm really happy with my

I had the previous version of the hand sanitizer and I must say, its a big improvement. First, the release point does not clog with the liquid soap dispensing. Secondly, no more wasting of batteries, which seemed to lose its energy very fast. Finally, the unit is smaller, better looking, and most of all, holds a charge for a long time. In addition, I also like base on where you put your hands, under the dispenser, determine how much soap is dispense into your hand. Great idea! Keep up the good work improving the Simplehuman products.

A Big Change

We replaced our older AA battery unit with this rechargeable, and it seems to work relatively well. The issue with holding hands close vs further away is not as effective as i had expected. in addition without being able to see the liquid level, it is harder to anticipate when more soap needs to be poured in. 

Finally the first pump came with a leak out the bottom but SimpleHuman was quick to replace it. The one i have now has given us no problem

Rechargeable sensor pump Not Bad

Works well. I like being able to adjust the amount of liquid dispensed by adjusting the height of my hand from the opening and the rechargeable feature is great. No more old batteries to dispose of. I would have given 5 stars if there was a way to see the soap level in the dispenser to know when it's time to refill.

It was a bit of a shock to see the sensor pump has bright white rubber around the lid and under the pump. Why not show the item exactly as it is? 

The trial and error of how long to recharge, what the blue light means, red (I assume means the unit is off) and green would mean fully charged? But how long does it take until fully charged? I've been meaning to call for these answers but trying to get an actual human when calling Simple Human takes a lot of time & effort.

The design is quite elegant, but product support is lacking. You just go round and round looking for answers on the website and there's nothing in the box other than info on other products to purchase. I'd definitely appreciate this sensor pump more it I had a really good set of instructions on how it worked. Please.

I though I loved it. After only 4 months it has started to rust.
I contacted simplehuman and they do not cover rust.
