My wife's previous sewing machine had been problems from the word "go". Never worked properly. And I had to listen to all the complaining which was almost continuous. Well, with this new sewing machine, it's been quiet around the house other than the low buzz of sewing. Now I know what paradise feels like......a quiet house. It works great. Best money I've spent. And I've got a happy wife!!!!!!

Amazing little, jamb-packed unit, as good for the experienced seamstress as it is for the beginner. Works wonderfully!!!! Lots of bells and whistles.

I ordered the Singer sewing machine about 3-4 weeks ago and I am absolutely delighted with it. First of all , it arrived days before the expected date and I was home to receive it, so I was very pleased. It sews like a dream. Love it!!!

Excellent Sewing Machine...

I have made a wise decision. Very easy to use, light weight, affordable. Something i was looking for to buy. It has all the features i needed. Good for basic to moderate sewing or everyday stitching basis along with embroidery functions etc...  Like it a lot.

I bought this awhile ago and have had no issues yet. I sew/quilt, but I recommend if your an avid quilter-this is not the machine for you (I have down basic, small quilting projects, but large quilts are impossible.)
I found it quick and easy to thread, the enclosed manual is clear and easy to understand-if you encounter any problems, I would recommend checking out the manual. I have never watched the enclosed DVD (maybe one day.) I have made dozens of projects and clothing on this machine with no issues/problems. I do advise to keep it maintained- oil/lube (included); when taking the bobbin out, check for debris and "sweep out"-this will stop any jams/freezing of your machine down the line.
I am now teaching my granddaughter a few things on sewing and this machine will not overwhelm/confuse her-great for teaching the basics.
Would recommend for a beginner or someone who sews occasionally.

My mother has one and I used it when I was young. Now I bought one for me. Good sewing machine @ affordable price.

Singer basic

I use Walmart online almost 4times every month.This is my  first time to write reviews. Just because singer sewing machine really disappointed me,twice.  Doesn't work at all. I give two stars just because delivery is still fine.

Waste time

My mother in law recently purchased this machine. Upon using it to mend a small job I noticed that the bobbin jams a lot . The problem is in the bobbin case it's self , there is a small screw that adjusts the tension that seems to constantly come loose . It becomes quite frustrating when you have to continually take it out and adjust  ! Also the reverse lever cracked when I went to use it , overall I wouldn't recommend this machine .
