It's a perfect little saw for home use. Obviously not for doing large contractor jobs, but as a woman maintaining a 200yo farmhouse, I found this to be the perfect size and weight and it feels sturdy and well made, not something that'll break on me in a year.

Value priced saw light duty saw that works well

It's been a very reliable circular saw so far. I have not yet used the blade that comes with it, as I bought a 4 pack of hyper tough saw blades. The blade that does come with the saw has a relatively low tooth count which is fine, but can leave rougher edges. 
   My only real complaint is that it's extremely loud. Not too bad with earbuds in but it's something to take into consideration. Another issue is that where the power cord connects to the tool SEEMS loose, but this might be a non issue over time as it might just be my perception. 
   I've cut everything from 2x4s to 1/2"x1/4" strips to great success. (Didn't use the saw to rip the strips themselves).
   I built a box out spruce to keep from having to sit the saw on the ground in between cuts, and to keep from having to flip the saw over. 
   The angle adjustments seem decent, I would still recommend checking the angle with a speed square (with the tool unplugged) until your sure exactly where the lines need to match up. The 45 is pretty much right on. Pretty happy with this saw, I also had purchased the hyper tough 12amp version and returned that one in favor of this one. (The blade guard on the other rattled after the cut which annoyed me lol).
   The price is unbeatable and I feel like I'll get alot more use out of this tool for years to come!

I bought this because I don't own a 7 1/4" circular saw. It has impressed me as I have used it, and it has more than enough power to do what I need it to do. The adjustments on the saw are easy to use and do not encumber you in any way. It came with a standard 24-tooth ripping blade, which cut through material just fine. I would recommend this saw if you need one for occational use

I bought this saw because I was into a project and had left my saw at my other property! This saw powerful and light weight. Performed flawlessly.  Very impressed with this saw for the low price.

this is a great buy for use around the house for projects and occasional use. i actually remodeled an entire small home using this model. i like that it includes a blade.

I was looking for an electric circular saw at a low price point to cut up small lumber (2 X 4), for projects around the house. This fit the bill. It was not bought for every day use and major construction projects. I have used it to cut up a few boards and it works well and has good power. The saw has a safety trigger button, and a locking button to hold the blade in place for replacement. Overall it is easy to use and not too heavy. I did not use the blade that came with it, as I had another.

Good saw for small projects

If you're looking for a circular saw to cut matchsticks, this is the one. Anything thicker will be a struggle with this toy. It has no chance of ever cutting through a 2x4 without getting hung up several times and having to be backed up to free the blade. I wound up getting out my old circular saw that is all beat up and using it instead. It had no problem cutting through the same lumber.
