Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic binoculars at a great price! I have had these binoculars for about one month now and couldn't be happier. I have recently taken up astronomy and the main reason for this purchase. I have had time to evaluate the optics over the past month and was impressed with what I was able to resolve using these. Images of our closest neighbour the moon are astounding! Detail of the lunar surface, shadows and colour are excellent. Pass-over's of the ISS can be viewed with the ability to see the station and its large solar panel arrays. Images of Venus and Mars were respectable from my backyard with less than ideal viewing conditions and you can see Jupiter and four of it's moons with relative ease. You can observe the Orion Nebula which appears as a faint smudge, but once again under less than ideal viewing conditions. I'm certain with truly dark skies these binoculars will shine! Due to the relative small field of view, magnification and weight, I would strongly suggest pairing with a decent tripod to reduce hand shake! I have already invested in one and look forward to getting out to some remote dark sky areas to really test them out. Highly recommended and a fantastic value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well manufactured The shipping from Walmart Montreal to Calgary was only a few days for these awesome Celestron Skymaster 25x70 binoculars! they were not out of collimation either from shipping. Once I adjusted them for each eye and then adjusted the main screw, they focused in quite clearly. I could see lettering on top of a skyscraper downtown from the suburbs of Calgary, 11 kilometers away. You don't need a tripod for these if you hold them at the end of the barrels and sit down on a bench. They are lots of fun to use and I really like the carrying bag and strap with the protective lens covers too. Amazing binoculars for such a low price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The field of view is so small it is dificult to locate the targeted object you are looking for, especially at 200 yds. A black object sometimes appears as red.? I ended up sending them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Bought these bad boys for astronomy. It's been cloudy since the day of pick up but I had a small chance last night to test them on mostly clear skies before the cloudy weather came back. I live in DFW where light pollution rules, but I was still able to see Orion Nebula with no problem. Can't wait to test them in the dark skies of Big Bend area! For terrestrial viewing they're great as well, but the field of view is narrow which is expected for astro binoculars. Overall I love these! No collmination issues at all!
