Our toddler easily figured out how to unlock the patio door and this works great to keep him from going out any time he pleases, plus provides additional security. Directions weren't the best but pretty easy to figure out and you can find videos online.

This product is so easy to install a caveman can do it. Secure and simple and blends in nicely. Can't even tell it's there. It's add another level or security to your sliding doors.

Simple to install

We have a toddler who lives to go outside. We were worried it would happen without supervision. This lock worked perfectly. No more worries. It was easy to install and more than worth the money for our peace of mind.

Exactly what we needed.

It's so hard to find a safety lock for sliding doors that doesn't attach at the floor and this one is great! The instructions aren't very clear that you can install either drilling into the door frame OR using the keeper. Drilled the hole into our door frame only to realize that I wasn't necessary had I used the keeper. 5 stars for function of the lock, with 3 stars for the clarity of the instructions.

Great lock, confusing instructions.

Product is good quality, but the installation instructions were a little hard to follow.  Ended up installing it too tight to the frame and it rubs when the door is fully opened.

Works great once installed.  Be very careful when measuring and drilling the hole per the instructions.

Patio Door Guardian

The template that is included was a little off, I had to drill 2 extra holes for the bracket. The latch doesn't fit very well in the groove of the door and I just took it off. It serves its purpose for a wooden patio door.

N E W S F L A S H!!! Guardian screen doors are not replaceable!!! That's right!! We have searched high and low!!! It's ridiculous!! 37 in width screen replacements are not sold!! You must buy a diy kit and fix it yourself!! I will never ever recommend this company "Guardian" for anything!!
