Description & Features+

Snow Joe developed the Snow Joe Ultra SJ620, a larger electric snow thrower that delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit. Driven by a 13.5 AMP motor, the Snow Joe Ultra moves up to 650 pounds of snow per minute. Its durable, 4 blade rotor, constructed of heavy grade steel, cuts a full 18-IN wide and 10-IN deep with each pass, clearing 2450 square feet per hour.In addition to its hard-working plowing capacity, the Snow Joe Ultra features an adjustable discharge chute that rotates a complete 180 degrees to provide full control over the snow discharge direction. The chute deflector can also be adjusted to control the height of the snow stream. Easy-glide pivot wheels make the Snow Joe Ultra easy to turn and maneuver on each pass. The scraper blade at the base of the unit efficiently scrapes the snow clear to the pavement.

Ratings & Reviews+

Snow Joe SJ620 Ultra 18-Inch 13.5 Amplifier Electric Snow Thrower is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 290.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low cost, and powerful! Pros: Environmentally Friendly, Quiet, Powerful, Lightweight Cons: Cord can be a hassle if you're not used to it (takes planning your path), Would be nicer if unit was wider than 18", would have liked less plastic and more metal for the casing, wheels and chute. I purchased a similar model for my dad for Christmas, and he loved it, so I decided to pick up this one from Walmart. I got to use this on some wet snow, covered with fresh snow. The Snowjoe worked like a champ, and was amazingly quiet compared to it's gas fed siblings. Any dry/light snow it easily throws 15-20'. Even the super wet stuff (heck there was even water!) goes a good 6-10'. The chute never got clogged, and the unit just kept going. It was even able to chew through those hard piles of snow left by the street snowplows. Only thing is, it can't move snow higher than itself, so 10' in height is the max, optimally closer to 6-8'. We don't get tons of snow in Vancouver, but we do get lots of the heavy wet snow and I was very impressed with the performance. 600sqft driveway, and 75ft of sidewalk took no time at all. Just make sure you follow the recommendations and have a 12 gauge 100ft cord. This little guy eats up the full 13.5amps and will burn through smaller cords. For the price, it can't be beat! Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I ordered the SnowJoe electric snowblower because I have a hard time starting gas engines with their pull-cords in the past, and don't like to have to add gas and oil. SnowJoe is great for this single gal; we had 6 inches of snow this weekend, and I was able to clear out my driveway and sidewalk with ease using my SnowJoe. Highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was skeptical in the beginning I was a little skeptical when I first purchased my Snow Joe a few winters ago. since it was electric, there was something about electricity. wet ground and extention cords that somehow didn't sound like they would mix. but I have used this blower for the last three winters in Nebraska without any problems. I didnt purchase the item from WalMart but from "another" retailer. If mine was to quit right now I would purchase another one, perfect especially if you have small areas to remove the snow from>

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great snow blower! Great item, using it in the NY North Country, works excellent. Not too heavy, easy to install, easy to use, fast snow removal even at 14 inches of snow. It would be great if the chute could be turned more than 180 degrees but I'm still very happy with this product and believe it’s worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for an electric powered machine. I needed an electric snow blower for simple wide driveway cleaning. It has all the problems of an electric machine, the cord is always in the wrong place, but if you can't manage a fuel driven machine, this is the next best thing. The less wind, the better it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Worked great on fluffy snow and not badly when the snow was wet. I have a 50 X 20 Driveway which I cleared in about and hour and a half. I must admit it was useless for the recent 2" of ice we recieved this week, but neither was the $500 gasoline Ice blower of my neighbors, nor the $1000 Toro of my neighbor across the street. None of these machines will move this much ice. I am completely satisfied with the product.
