Rated 1 out of 5 by from skip Just got diet root beer for the first time in 6 months. Its the new and improved flavor also in a new tiny bottle (14.8oz) at the same price as the old (16.9oz). Also it takes twice as much syrup to make a canister. Here is the good part, it tastes like anything but root beer. I'm taking this back tomorrow

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD BAD BAD I loved the old diet root beer.. It was perfect.. However now it has 2/3rds less sweetener and not even dark.. WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE RECIPE? IT WAS PERFECT!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from really really liked the OLD diet root beer Got one of the new ones.. No discernible markings on cap for either half-liter or full liter bottles. Lacks any flavor AT ALL. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tastes fine but definitely not worth the higher $$ I'm not sure I'd say it's better than its non-fountain style predecessor, but it is signifigantly more expensive per serving. I hope they continue to offer the other original flavors to go along with these new ones. I was willing to purchase the equipment if the serving cost was comparable to store bought, but if they phase out the original syrup I'm afraid my expensive equipment will end up in the basement to collect dust. I would not recommend at this price.
