We have been using this TV for a couple of months now. The picture is fantastic, and the smart features are great. It has some apps like Netflix and amazon instant video. The biggest problem is also its biggest advantage android TV. Like most android products it is not stable. The TV will reboot itself or require it weekly. Apps lose their settings too

You can't beat that product at that price. The 3D and the android feature are mind blowing. To get the best picture, be patient and calibrate it. I have a Samsung 50 inch 7000 series and is a 4K version. Right in front of my room, I am surprised the Sony (1080p) has better picture quality than my Samsung that costed twice the Sony. The blacks on the Sony do add to the magnificence of the picture quality.I LOVE IT!

Packed with amazing features!

Bought about 2 months ago and am happy with the picture quality, however the android interface can be very slow and unresponsive. There are other functions that are supposed to available by software updates but as yet these aren't released. Overall I'm a little disappointed, but am hoping that software updates will make it a much better product very soon!

Nice looking but software is poor

Have had it for month. Attractive and light weight but the android smart TV has not impressed me one bit. Audio quality not great but when connected to a sound bar better. So the Tv can't take the credit. Very disappointed with the entertainment apps. Sony said all free to air catch up TV will be available in the summer but until todate apart from BBC iplayer none of the other catch up TV apps are available. So missing out on ITV player, 4 and 5 on demand. The one flick remote which allows one to talk to TV comes with a huge price. £50 is too much according to me. Sometimes when the TV is switched off, I am unable to switch back again. Have to wait for the processor to shut down all the apps before one can switch it back again. The remote sensor could have been better placed as when the sound bar is placed in front of the TV, I am unable to use the remote from a sitting position. Have to be raised above the shoulder. I was told by John Lewis where I brought the TV that the Xreality pro converts standard signals to high definition signals unlike a 4K TV which can only transmit the 4K signals in ultra HD mode. I don't think that is true. So beware about clarity. There is no access ports on the side of TV so once fixed to the wall very difficult to access them. Overall I will give 5/10 for the Sony Bravia 855C.

Just purchased & the pic is unbelievable clear, vivid with color, and the clarity/sharpness of the pic is outstanding!! I believe that the Sony TV's are by far the best on the market!!

Best TV Ever

Had this TV a couple of weeks & still can't believe the difference in the picture quality compared to our old TV,with the included Sony sound bar it's like being at the cinema.

compared this tv to others including 4k tv's,this had all the features i wanted and when viewed next to a 4k tv there wasn't enough difference in picture quality to justify the extra cost.

another great sony product

I bought this recently and took it back for a refund after a week. The interface was slow on the internet even though I have fast fibre optic broadband. The tv started distorting the sound too on the net but not on the tv. Picture was ok.

very disappointed

I bought this a month ago and wish I hadn't!
The brightness is set to max to see any picture.
The apps keep crashing.
The sound lags.
displays a blank screen.
no voice control.
The TV lags the remote button presses.
etc, etc
