If you're looking for a Blu-ray/DVD player and you're on a budget, this Sony is hard to beat. Granted, there's no display on the front and it doesn't support WiFi (Ethernet only), but it does all the basics and features HDMI as well as a separate coax digital audio output, so you can run the audio separately to a stereo receiver or surround system. Overall I'm very happy with it.

walmart.com

Its an awesome piece of tech to have,I have one in every room and I got one for my mom. You can't beat the price either!

Hooking up the unit to the tv was awesome and so very easy. Love how this unit works. Price and shipping time were excellent. Quality of the unit is great. Thank you so much!

GREAT dvd player!

Have used it several times and it works as advertised with no problems. Haven't used the apps yet because my Vizio smart tv has all the apps.

Best buy

Basic Sony Player... plays everything we have thrown at it.

Does the Job w/ No Hassles

Cabinet and chassis look cheap. There were no analog audio output jacks to feed my stereo receiver. I immediately had to go out and buy a digital-to-analog converter for audio. I would have preferred a larger unit. I'm disappointed in Sony.

Disappointed

I purchased this blu ray player months ago. I did not have an immediate use for it. So I took it out of the box for the 1st time, literally, yesterday.
Guess what.. it does not work! It is a refurbished Sony player that is giving me the exact same problem that my, and others, Samsung blu ray player has.
and there are no updates or firmware to correct the problem.
I really hate throwing away money!🤨

This item has no wireless connection. I consider this to be VERY DECEPTIVE.

Deceptive Practices

I actually returned this product (very smooth process at my local WM!). I bought it to get access to streaming. It is slow and the preloaded apps are VERY limited (e.g. no YoutubeTV). Process to add apps is cumbersome. When you give it a command, it takes a while to react.

Don't waste your time on this product!
