I bought the Sony 60W soundbar at first and got it on sale for only $99 at Target but ended returning it because it wasn't loud enough for me and got this Sony 300W sound bar instead from Walmart. This is one of the best soundbars for the money, great sound coming from the bass and plenty loud. Setting up took me less than a minute, one optical cable from the TV to the soundbar and the subwoofer is wireless. You can't go wrong with a Sony product, buy it, you'll love it.

While researching soundbars on line I consistently seen this one as one of the highest rated ones, so I decided to give it a go without ever actually hearing it. Let me say that I'm not disappointed at all with the purchase. I really wasn't expecting much bass from the small sub, but it holds it own even in a large living room. It was very easy to setup and looks great. My only complaint is the settings are a little confusing to go through as you only have a one line display. I also turned off the effect setting and the sound improved greatly. I had seen this tip on multiple reviews and it does make a difference.

Very Nice Sounding Soundbar

Awesome sound Quality. I have a 5.1 set up in basement with JBL speakers.But wanted something small for the upstairs rec. 5 minutes to set up very easy to do. The sound fills up the rec room with a rich full clear sound. Base makes the floors rumble and that is more then enough for me.

I Purchased this sound bar after 3 months of research to help improve my movie viewing experience and immersion. What you get in this package is a great sound bar and an amazing subwoofer. The Bravia Sync work well for communicating between all my devices with the occasional de-sync when fast switching inputs. Lets be clear; is it the best sounding system, no and the design is slightly eccentric for all taste, but if your like me and are budget conscious with limited space then the CT260H is a great purchase

The Most Affordable & Powerful Setup On A Budget

I am living in a small apartment now and no longer have room for all the speaker wire and cables needed for my old surround system. Plus it was very heavy and had started acting up. I was amazed to discover the great sound quality and depth of base I got from this soundbar system. it fits beautifully under my TV; and with the blue tooth capability, I will no longer have to worry about tripping over wires. Installation was a snap as well. I did lots of research before purchase and this soundbar received the highest ratings.

Amazing sound in a compact package

This is a very good unit. The sound is quality out put is very good. Easy to get setup. Looks good. There are many options for choosing the sound that will fit your listening needs. The subwoofer is great.

If you have a older T V or cable box be sure the connections will be compatible before you purchase this or any other unit.

Very Good Unit

The sound is great but I expected it to have a little more power since I was replacing a. 60 watt Philips sound bar. The sound was great with anything that played with my blu-Ray player, but base wasn't as noticeable as I would have preferred. The sound is excellent but I just wish I could have it on all my cable shows

I primarily chose this system because of the ease of setup, cost and my hope that it utilized smart technology. All came true except for the smart technology.

Nice little system

IF THERE IS ALOT OF BASE GENERATED IN THE BACKGROUND MUSIC OF THE SHOW THAT YOU ARE WATCHING, IT CAN OVERSHADOW THE CLEARNESS OF THE VOICES THAT YOU HEAR. HOWEVER, OVERALL IT GIVES MOVIES GREAT DEPTH IN THE SOUND QUALITIES.

THE BASS CAN BE OVERWHELMING.

I received this sound bar and sub-woofer last Feb as a gift and I was originally very please. But as time went on the item began to fail like all other Sony products I have purchased in recent years. The sound quality was great for the price and was wonderful for movies and playing music through and the sub made a huge and wonderful impact.

In the recent months the bluetooth sub has been cutting out while watching movies and completely shutting off (Power still on) while streaming music through via bluetooth, AUX adapter, provided cable, and HDMI cable. As soon as I try to adjust the volume of the sub woofer it cuts out and provides no bass from the sub. I have had no help with Sony customer service as their only suggestion was to not turn up the speaker too loud. Kind of defeats the purpose to me.

I have slowly began throwing away my Sony products and replacing them with different manufacturers because the last 4 out of 4 Sony products I have purchased have failed within 6-12 months. Very disappointed, I do NOT recommend anything Sony to anyone....unless you want to throw away your money.
