It clumps really well. This product proves that chemical deodorant scent is not required for litter; my apartment is still fresh smelling; & why would u want your pet licking chemical residue from his paws? Scooping the clumps out daily is not just recommended, it's highly desirable for cleanliness & freshness. My usual yellow grocery store seems to have added scent to their unscented brand; why?? Now I'm with Special Kitty; please don't EVER add scent to this product; it's perfect the way it is.

I'm so glad Special Kitty offers an unscented option--healthier for the cats, and the humans!  This stuff does what you need it to do, at a really reasonable price--we're committed buyers!

Good performance at a great price

This is some of the best priced litter around. I get the unscented as we don't care for the perfume - but it has baking soda and does a good job on odor control. It isn't too bad in terms of dust production, either. Overall, a great value. Get someone else to lift it if you have a bad back, though!!

Can't beat the price

For the past 6 yrs I have been using the national brand baking soda cat litter....and it works....then I thought i would give special kitty a try. It works equally as well with daily scooping as the national brand- you get twice as much in the box for half the price. My only issue is the dustiness.

Inexpensive but good

This is the most cost-effective, quality unscented clay-based clumping cat litter I have found. The litter is absorbent and moisture clumps neatly. It absorbs and decreases odors well, though it gives off the light scent of dust and clay. My cats are comfortable using it and it sweeps or vacuums up easily after they do.

Best in class

I bought this item recently and am satisfied with it. The litter box has a lot of dust but it controls the smell of cats well. For the price, it's fine.

Effective litter

Used to buy Economy Cat Litter, which is no longer available. Thankfully. Special Kitty is same price and much better. I don't need to put a mask on or open windows anymore when cleaning litter box.

Less dust and no odour

Works with the box we bought, but the smell is terrible

Clumpy

The bag inside has wholes in it, so it gets litter everywhere. Switching back to a bag, easier to pour. Also the non clumping litter seems to have better odour control.

Don't like the box

This is very very dusty! Very disappointed! My kitties smell like kitty litter! Pretty Baby is all dusty! A layer of dust in the bathroom where I keep the kitty litter box! I have even been sneezing and congested from this awful stuff! I thought I would try it after the litter I used was sadly discontinued... Not buying this ever again!

Very very dusty
