I love this squash. It's wonderful when it's steamed and then add brown sugar and butter with it. You mash it up like a mashed potato you take the Rhine off them.

such delicious squash. i have started sretching meals and snacks with my squash. its not fattening either. hooray. i pop it in the micro for a quick softening cook so my knif glides right thry its skin. easy.

Wonderful winter squash that roasts beautifully. I cut it in half, discard seeds and strings, brush completely with evoo, place cut side down on a foil-lined pan, then roast at 425° for about 1 hour. The squash should be fork tender and the cut surfaces will be gorgeously caramelized. Enjoy!

Don't Ignore Acorn Squash: They are Easy to Roast

If you've never eaten an Acorn squash, they are very simple to cook. Wash, cut in half, add a dollop of butter in each one salt, pepper and then bake in the oven in an oven safe dish on 350 for 40 minutes. Tons of variations. You can add brown sugar and  pecans or walnuts with the butter.

Fresh Acorn Squash

even though I love your acorn squash and it's usually pretty good and fresh. but, your Shoppers always pick the largest squash in the bin! or the largest cabbage! I got an 11 lb cabbage once! and the Squash I got today was gigantic. I ordered two so it cost me an arm and a leg and a couple of toes just for two squash! please pick average size produce or think about it please because everyone's on a budget now. ordering squash is a treat because it's so expensive! One squash size is enough for four people! and the 11 lb cabbage was insane it was the size of a basketball.

this is the best produce that is available and would recommend it.  Was moist when cut open and flavor was very good not like the squash

When someone else picks out your produce, its a hit or a miss. Mostly my experience has been a big miss. The squash is dry and older than i wouldve picked!

Acorn Squash -  Fresh

This is the smallest acorn squash I have ever seen. One usually feeds many people. This is squash for one

I'm learning that I should get my own produce so far  alotof the produce I get seems to be bad.. this was so old it was mostly yellow one side was caved in and it was rotten! I won't even talk about the salad and the cole slaw I tried to get... I've started taking pictures. I do try to get my own produce when I can but I'm super busy and I can't always do that but in my order on Thursday I had to throw away four things. I've taken pictures like I said but I really like you guys and I usually give you five stars and everything but this produce thing is getting out of hand. I feel like the pickers pick the oldest stuff you have and the ugliest I don't understand because I go in right after and you have really nice stuff but I'm not getting it and drive up. I will be getting my own produce but other than that you guys are five stars!
