This is a great affordable machine that kicks your butt!  I purchased this while this quarantine is going on as I was swimming prior conditioning myself for my first triathalon, well guess that is gonna be next year now.  I was looking for something similar to the concept 2, personally I think this machine is tougher than the concept 2, I think it is because the concept 2 freewheels longer, anyway the machine is smooth and magnetic resistance works well, it has a little noise but not super loud.  The display/programs are adequate for me, as I like simplicity.  The only con that I have with the machine is with the foot pedals, not sure I care for the position, and I am not sure I care for them being able to pivot, I think I am going to figure out a way change this, Other than that this machine is perfect.  Seems to be well made, and I am a former metal fabricator so if it was chinsy believe me I would say so!  Would and have recommended this machine to anyone looking for a great machine at a lower price!

My husband and I had been talking about getting a row machine for a while. It was the only piece of equipment that our apartment gym doesn't have that we wanted. I'm so glad that we went with this one. It was fairly easy to put together and is very sturdy. We both use it every other day or so.

Awesome for the price!

Love it. It's a full work out. Especially great on shoulders. If your shoulder feels tight and hurts, consider rowing. This machine is also light and does not take up much space.
Get a silicone oil spray (WD40) for the seat. It will start to squeak if you use it a lot like I do. Oiling it takes care of the squeak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Stamina Rower 35-1409A. It's smooth and very easy to program. I get a very good workout in a short amount of time. Compact and out of the way. This will help immensely for winter.

Excellent Rower

Great machine! Great price! I never buy anything without researching the best of the best and their reviews. You can definitely find Stamina brand on these top lists. For the price I wanted to invest, led me to Stamina and a few of its models. What sold me on model 35-1409 was a detailed customer review. I've had this rower nearly 2 months now and I love it. It has many programed workouts to choose from and can easily be personalized. I can do just 20 minutes and be drenched in sweat, eww! It's a full body workout! Assembly was a breeze, took 30ish minutes with instructions. Easy to move around, comfortable seat, solid construction, and I love the fan wheel with vents that keep me cool while working up a sweat! Ecstatic with my rower!

Rower is great but the customer service is amazing! I would willingly purchase and work with this company over and over again!

Great machine better service!

First unit I bought wouldn't register the strokes or distance. Called customer service and within a week, I had a replacement machine at home. Works great, and is easy to move around and store. My only complaint is that the foot straps are a bit cheap and difficult to use. I wish there were other options for them.

Customer service quickly replace a faulty machine

Not the easiest thing to put together.  Have had it jus over a week and the rower line has broken meaning no tension when using.  Have reached out to the company and very slow to respond.  Very disappointed that I'm unable to use being its brand new.

Disappointed

Machine broke 90 meters into very first use. Row strap rwturn mechanism failure of some kind. Thankfully seller was quick to offer full refund. Bought a used nordic track instead.
