The last one lasted me 16 years...It probably would go another 16 but I retired. He rests on the shelf and goes fishing occassionally.  Stanley replaced one for me because the handle broke. I e-mailed them asking if I could get parts and I would fix it myself, and they just sent me a new one. This one was a christmas gift for my son in law. I hope he has the luck with his that I did with mine...

Hot coffee all day !

WOW! IT WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME SUPER STORM. I DID NOT HAVE 1 OF MY STANLEY WITH ME. I SHOPPED ONLINE AT WALMART AND EVERY STANLEY WAS OUT OF STOCK. I WAS NOT SHOCKED. BECAUSE, THE DURABILITY AND RELIABILITY OF STANLEY PRODUCTS FOR ME IS OVER 50 YEARS. THEY DID NOT CHANGE AT ALL :-) THE DESIGN "GREEN/SILVER" ALWAY'S MAKES FOR GREAT MEMORIES :-) LIKE I SAID. THERE WERE ONLY 2 LEFT. TALK ABOUT BEING THANKFUL! THIS IS THE LARGEST THERMO I HAVE ADDED. AND IT WAS A GREAT THING. BECAUSE, MY SUPER SIZE STANLEY WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT STILL HAD STEAMY HOT WATER AFTER 12 HOURS. TO MAKE INSTANT DRINKS AND FOODS. FUNNY HOW MAKE STORIES GET TOLD WHEN A STANLEY VACUUM SEAL BOTTLE COMES OUT, AND THEY ARE NOT TALL TALE STORIES EITHER, LOL ;-D

Yeah, this thermos is the gold 🥇 standard. I lost my first one that I had for years. I'm a coffee drinker, so it will pay for itself pretty quick. Lots cheaper than stopping for my caffeine fix. Keeps my coffee ☕ hot, not lukewarm, all morning and past lunch

Many fond memories of my dad and mom bringing along their handled red plaid thermos on family trips in the days before MickeyDs and interstate highways. We use a Keurig coffeemaker. Got this baby to make espresso ahead of the event. Served two hours later out of this thermos, as hot and fresh tasting as if the beans had just been ground and Keurig'ed. (Note to manufacturer, I'd lovey the red plaid to come back.)

Retro as good as original

This was a gift for a friend's birthday for his coffee, and he was very pleased when he got it home and put coffee in it. There were no leaks.. Stanley products are always quality. You just need to be careful putting the lid down into it by letting the steam out first may take a minute or two but then you're all set. There won't be any spouting of liquid coming out. I found this out when I received my stainless steel coffee cup Tumblr when I put the lid on which has a lip that you can open up, I keep that lip part open until I press it down, allowing the steam to go out first, and then I close the little lip lid part. Thumbs up on a great product..

Quality product as always

if i could give this 30 stars i would. i got this because I'm currently staying at a Ronald McDonald house so I don't have anything in my room to cook with but they have a hot water machine and I have ramen so I got this to bring hot water to my room and keep it hot for at least an hour or so... But it keeps water hot for DAYS, I was shocked when 3 hours later the water was still boiling hot but I just went to dump it today when I last filled it 3 days ago and the water is still hot! Not boiling of course but still hot. I'm genuinely shocked and very satisfied with this quality. Next I wanna try ice water and see how long the ice lasts, if it lasts as long I'll be buying a second one just so I have one hot and one cold.

I can remember the old days filling up with a full pot of steaming hot coffee and off to work. Out in the cold, in the mud, raining, snowing, it didn't matter when I could count on my trusty Stanley to warm me up. Sure miss them old days and my old Stanley Thermos. That's why I bought a brand new one for my favorite activities in this day and age.

Still keepin er Hot!

We needed only the thermos topper, but it was not much more to buy a whole new thermos. the topper does its job well so far, but we need to be aware, that the topper after a few years, maybe even a decade :) just starts to get brittle and disinegrate, getting little plastic pieces in your liquid.

Very sturdy and great color. Does keep coffee hot longer than most…I have to give them props for that. 
     However LEAKS LIKE A SIEVE around the cap unless you keep it in a totally vertical position. If you can accomplish that all the time then fine. I have to lay it down at about a 45 * angle when on the road and find dampness on the floorboard where it laus…and coffee up an down the outside of thermos.
