I was looking for a cheap salad spinner that I could get ASAP.  This thing is pretty awesome.  Built in strainer in the lid so I can just pour out excess water if I'm using it on the counter.  I wasn't expecting much for the price with the removable base but it's honestly pretty sturdy.  I'm impressed especially being that it wasn't one of those expensive ones. 
The handle is a wee bit clunky but it's easy to get used to. I did 15 heads of romaine lettuce in this thing in one morning and highly recommend it.

I got this salad spinner for Christmas after my last two broke. This is the sturdiest one I have owned so far and I love that the basket can also double as a colander. I also love the snap off base that keeps the water off my counters.

Does a great job of getting the water off the lettuce and easily fits in the fridge. Keeps the washed and spun lettuce crisp.

I've had this salad spinner for about a year now and absolutely love it! I love how it has the strainer in the bottom and with the removable bottom makes it great and convenient. For the price of $20, a great buy!

Great quality & strong material throughout. Well thought of design. Deep bowl. Can drain water into a removable silicone base or directly into the sink while spinning. Can drain bowl from the top without opening the lid. Stable rubber feet. THE BEST FEATURE IS THE EFFORTLESS SPINNING even with full bowl.  Easy to clean. Reasonably priced.  It is the best I have had so far and I tried many.

Perfect!

The lettuce does not come out as dry as I would like. The one I had before this one was perfect. It had holes on the bottom of the outer bowl so the water would all go in the sink and the salad ended up much more dry. I had it for many years, but had to look for a new one. I'm looking for one like it. Not sure yet. I might return this one.
