Just what I needed!

Perfect size for my purpose. 8 gallon trash bags fit perfectly. When you step on the foot pedal, the lid opens and shuts when you take your foot off the pedal. You can also open the lid straight up with your hand (without your foot on the pedal) and it will stay open until you close it.

Compact and handy trash basket

I was looking for a covered trash can for the bathroom. I wanted a flat backed or rectangular can because I have a deep narrow bathroom.

Everything I found was either too tall, too tiny, took up too much space, or was too expensive. 

After months of searching at several retailers I found this one. I thought "Well this will have to do - it's better but a bit on the large side." What I discovered when I brought it home was it took up the same space as a smaller can that I had with a swing lid because that one slanted out at the top.

This one opens nicely, it's not wobbly, there's a big enough space to get your toes in to operate the lever, the lever doesn't stick out creating a trip hazard, etc. I use a 13 gallon drawstring bag in it and it stays in nicely.

This would work great in many places and would be a good choice for an RV/camper, sewing/crafting space, or if you're a vendor and need a can in your booth. 

Not too big and not too small and keeps your hands free. Win win win!

Reasonable price and good quality!

This is just the perfect wastebasket. It is sturdy and has a nice size, is durable and cannot be easily tipped over. It is easy to open with the step on pedal. The inside is easy to clean. I love the compact size and the shape of this wastebasket. Makes it easy to put it against a wall or in a corner. The dark color looks nice in any décor. This wastebasket looks stylish and is functional. A great addition to our household. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study

Perfect wastebasket

I like the smaller size of this wastebasket because it is easier to fit in a more compact space. I find that a 13 gallon trash bag also fits perfectly inside this can so it removes the need to buy a different size bag for this wastebasket than my traditional larger wastebasket. The step on mechanism for opening the lid functions very smoothly, and the way it is configured gives me confidence that the opening mechanism will not fail over time. I did not have an issue installing the lid, but I could see where a person may have trouble. You simply snap the lid into place, and if you look at the lid and the rim of the basket it is very easy to tell where the two pieces snap together. This is a good quality basket and I will be purchasing another one for my utility room as well as one for my pantry to hold my excess plastic shopping bags. Compact and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this little trash can for our RV, I measured my dimensions exactly to fit under my fridge and in a corner and it works great. pretty sturdy. only had it a few weeks so can't say how long it will last, but seems good! The opening is large. the step works to open the lid. The only problem is trying to keep bags in it!
