Wow, it's pretty noticeable how much stewing beef has gone up in price...it's no longer a cheap and cheerful meal deal but I need to say that I am consistently impressed with the AAA Angus Beef I get from Walmart. It nicely cut up and I don't find small chunks or big chunks I need to cut down. Saves me time. How you cook stewing beef is important. I go the slow cooking method,, low heat and leave it barley simmer for 5 to 7 hour...Always comes out the same for me .and great flavor . Perfect for stews and excellent for English style beef pie with puff pastry.

I used the beef in my slow cooker and it turned out really well. Very tender. I was very happy with the result. Lots of leftovers in the freezer too.

Stewing Beef

Can't give much of a review because I didnt get to cookout eat the beef. I didnt realize the expiration date was a day after I received the item. Also, did not request this item on my order. I requested some other type of beef that was on sale. The shopper substituted my item forthis one which was 26$. That's quite a chunk of change to just throw away! Soneedless to say im slightly disappointed.

Expired fast!

The package of stew beef I had delivered was marked ".99K" NET which, when you do the math of 2.2 lbs per kilo, should have given me close to at least 2 pounds of meat, maybe a hair over. On removing it to trim for a stew, just for fun I weighed it and saw I had only 1.5 lbs.  So I ended up paying $23 for a pound and a half.  Definitely not a bargain.

Good meat, bad weighing!

This is my second review for the same item. And I have not changed my mind. We cooked the meat for a long enough time to be totally 'done', but when we served it only a few bites were fit to be eaten. The rest was very tough and we had to dispose of it all. $25.00 wasted.

Stewing beef disaster

The meat was tough and barely edible. How can this possibly be AAA Angus Beef? I am throwing the rest away.

The stewing beef cubes were really spoilt it tasted awful and partially rotten while cooking had to throw most of it.
