Description & Features+

Amid a brooding rock & roll landscape, the Bombers motorcycle gang, led by the vicious Raven Shaddock (Willem Dafoe), kidnap diva Ellen Aim (Diane Lane). Her hope for rescue lies with unlikely heroes: soldier of fortune Tom Cody (Michael Pare) and his sidekick, the two-fisted beer-guzzling, McCoy (Amy Madigan). Joined by Ellen's manager, Billy Fish (Rick Moranis), the trio plunges headfirst into a world of rain-splattered streets, hot cars, and deadly assassins. This cult-hit features a razor-sharp cast and original songs written by Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty and Ry Cooder and performed by such greats as The Blasters and The Fixx. "Streets of Fire" is a rock & roll shotgun blast to the senses.

Ratings & Reviews+

Streets Of Fire is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A movie most people will enjoy. This is not the best movie ever made, but it is one of my favorites. Sit back and turn up the volume. The soundtrack is excellent and fits perfectly with each scene. I watch this movie all the time and I still love it. It has great action, music, and should be enjoyable for everyone who watches it. Don't forget to turn the volume up, it really makes the movie come alive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I watched this movie when it orignally came out and had to go back and see it again. Michael Pare meets all of my expectations of hero and Willem Dafoe makes a wonderful bad guy. Amy Madigan is so believable in her role, when I first saw this movie I was in the Army and could relate to her. I loved the movie and the music was awesome. This is one of those movies I watch on rainy days and just lose myself in it. If you are a true fan of Harlequin Romance, you love this movie. It has the elements of a romance and something that they guys will like as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great movie. What can i say about the movie, I was very surprised walmart sold the movie. I got a great deal for it. This is a classic movie. Everything about this movie was perfect. This is a great, old fashion butt kicking and powerful movie. Hard to find movies like this. If you like 80's movies, then you will like this movie. Truly epic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very different movie It has been many years since I last saw this movie and I was afraid I had it built up to be better than it really is. This is a great fantasy movie about a different time and reality. Early Diane Lane and Willem DeFoe, and whatever happened to Michael Pare'. Good movie with a good cast. Don't understand why the high price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Streets Of Fire I love this movie, especially the love song, I Can Dream About You. The actors were lipsinging, but the emotion was felt as if they were really singing. The triumph of good over evil is always welcome, especially when those for good done give the bad guys the treatment they could have or deserved.
