I must confess that a good chuck of my utilities bill goes towards the countless times I've boiled water just to forget to make my tea. If you're like me, don't worry, I've had this kettle for almost three years now and it has never failed. Easy to clean if you boil some vinegar and water every once in a while. Not only is it cordless, it also swivels 360 on the base.
I only wish it came with a replacement mesh filters since they wear out over time but for the price vs # of times I've used it, I'm not complaining!
I would suggest being gentle when cleaning the printed water level markers on the outside since they rub off over time.

I bought it since I've been trying to introduce my bf to tea and pretty much each time he tried to warm up water on the stove he ended up burning the pot. Now he can warm up the water really fast and thank god with no danger at all since it turns off automatically

I enjoyed the light weight nature of the kettle and really like how the blue light contrast with the black unit. Water was boiled in less than 2 minutes and has an automatic stop once boiling is reached, The 360 action is also a plus, you just sit it on the stand no trying to fiddle with it to securely lock in to any rivets, just sit the kettle on top the base hit the button and you're good to go, great value for under $30. To the customer above complaining about a foul taste I would ask; Did you wash it with mild soapy water? rinse, than fill to the max line with water, boil and dump first? Before you first used it? If you had read the instructions you would have seen it right there.

I recommend this kettle for me, so I buy one for myself and one for my parents. They use it every day and more than once and it is still as good after 2 years.

Excellent kettle

I bought and used my cordless 1.7 litre 360 degrees cordless kettle in Nova Scotia and I tasted a javex-plastickey like taste on the boiled water. I've experienced the same thing here in Newfoundland. I thought it was the water, but this is obviously not the case. Can you explain this before I keep on using this product?
