Just bought this last night and since the reviews I read here are the reason I decided to purchase, thought I should add a review. I have owned two Shark steam mops, both have exploded dangerous amounts of steam out the top. I had the first one replaced but thinking I don't want to take a chance on it happening a third time and chance getting burned. So I researched and found mostly positive reviews on the Swiffer Steam mop and decided to try. Did a great job! Used on my kitchen, (floating tile), living room (hardwood), 2 bathrooms (tile), 2 bedrooms (wood & laminate), and ended with a painted floor area in my basement. I did this all with one steam pad and it locked in the dirt. I love this product!!! Very light weight and easy to use and maneuver. Only thing I could find negative is it doesn't come with a spout/funnel for adding water. I use mine from previous steam mop so not a problem for me.

I love love love this product. Easy to use and no other cleaning liquid is needed, it's all in the pads. Just pop on the cleaning pad, fill with water, plug it in and go to cleaning. Does a great job steaming off those dirty spots that regular mopping doesn't get. Would buy it again.

I'm very pleased with this Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Mop product. It performs as promised, is easy to use, and easy to store. The first time I used it was only a few days after I had cleaned the floors with a traditional mop. I thought they were reasonably clean. Boy, was I wrong! The Bissell SteamBoost Mop picked up a lot more dirt. NOW I feel my floors are clean.

Great for big & small cleanups!

I used the SteamBoost on my tile floors and loved the outcome I got.  I used it after I mopped the floors with a conventional mop and was amazed at what was left over that the SteamBoost picked up.  The floors had a like new shine and felt clean when walking on them.  It took about as much time to use as a conventional mop or Swiffer.  I would definetely recommend this product!

Swiffer SteamBoost Powered by Bissell

I prefer this Steam Mop to other more expensive ones that I've owned because I like to throw away pads rather than the kind you have to wash. This is my second Bissell Swiffer the first one lasted about two-and-a-half years but then the steam button broke and couldn't be repaired because parts are not available so be careful how hard you squeeze it gentle pressure does the job I think I was squeezing it too hard. For less than $50 it's a good steam mop and does the job nicely on my floors. I bought the $4 protection plan Just in case the same thing happens before the two years is up.

My second one

I LOVE the idea of a Bissell and Swiffer together. I own the Swiffer MAX and had the regular Bissell steamer. The steamer was about $130 and died out after a few years. Ths combo has some of the same problems the Bissell Swiffer has:

-- The mop is too small. They need to make a Bissell Swiffer MAX!!!!! I would pay double.
--The trigger needs an auto on option. I read someone else's review and put a rubber band around it to save my wrist from cramping.

This is not the most sturdy thing in the world, no where near as sturdy as the standard Bissell steam mop, but it does do what you would expect a Swiffer married to a steamer might do. I like it enough to say I would pay double for double the size. I would pay 3-4 times as much for a larger mop area and a sturdier product. Get to designing Bissell! ;

Good for the price

Ladies listen up. If you are like me I don't have time to waste. This was a waste of time and money until...I found some reusable pads that fit!!! Yeah, no more chemicals, no more wet floor. Those pads pick up dirt, but your floor is wet for 10 min. afterwards. So when you buy it make sure you find the pads that you can toss in washer cause they don't sell them.

good for the price But

While I enjoy many Swiffer products in my home I found the Swiffer Bissell StamBoost Mop to be smaller than I expected, the steam pressure was very low and hardly any steam came and and it was hard to push while having to press the steam button.. Don't recommend this product. Spend the extra buck and buy a better product...

Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Mop

When it steams, it's great. However, beyond the initial steam, it takes a long time for steam to work again. It comes too slow and weak. It would take me a long time to do my cleaning. The concept of having disposable pads is great though. I wish they would come up with a model that is more powerful. Due to lack of usefulness, I am marking it as low in value. I returned the unit.

Steam is TOO weak

I BOUGHT IT TO USE ON WOOD FLOORS BUT IT GETS THEM SO WET THAT I AM FRAID TO USE IT ON THEM. IF I COULD TAKE IT BACK TO THE STORE INSTEAD OF SHIPPING IT BACK, I WOULD, BIG WASTE OF MONEY. DO YOU REALLY READ THESE?????
