Description & Features+

The Swisher 6.75 gross torque Deluxe String Trimmer is an ideal back-saving alternative to heavy handheld gas trimmers The trimmer's wide 22" cutting swath rivals that of most lawnmowers, while its user-friendly design offers unsurpassed, precision trimming and edging performance. The improved trimmer head features 4 strings / 8 effective cutting lines and allows you to adjust your cutting height from 1.5" - 3.5". For added safety, you can engage and disengage the trimmer head from the handle bar while the engine is running. The trimmer features 15.75" wheels for plenty of clearance and smooth rolling over rough terrain. The tough .155" diameter cutting line provides ample cutting strength for weeds and thick overgrowth. The off-set trimmer head makes it easy to trim in hard to reach places. And, when it's time to edge, the head rotates 90-degrees for touching up around sidewalks, driveways, and flowerbeds. The trimmer line is easily replaceable without the use of tools. 50 state compliant. Made in the USA.

Swisher 6.75 GT 22-inch Deluxe String Trimmer is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from You won't like it! If you think this looks like a great way to trim the grass and weeds around your yard, think again. No matter how you adjust the handle, the basic design of ALL these trimmers, regardless of brand, is not conducive to ease of use. You will fight hard to maneuver this machine, even on flat ground, but especially if there's even a slight grade or incline. My yard is level, but the fact that the trimmer head has a full radius (half ball) cone to dig into the ground, and not skim across the top of it, like a normal weedeater, makes it extremely difficult to operate. You can't just push this machine like a rotary mower. You have to simultaneously push down on the handle, to keep pressure off the cone, so it doesn't dig in, while trying to force it forward. The "large" diameter wheels need to be twice the diameter to make them even remotely effective. They are hard plastic, and don't want to roll over the smallest of branches, let alone a rock or other small obstruction. I won't even go into the cheesy way the tilt mechanism works, nor the construction of the machine. It's not worth typing out. The B&S engine started on the FIRST pull, straight out of the box, after adding oil and gas. Otherwise, this machine is close to useless. Buy a normal weedeater type trimmer! The soreness in your arms will be nothing compared to your aching back with one of these mower trimmers.
