I use this eyeliner along with the tarteist gel liner-which I love too.At first you have to break through the "shell." But once you get the top layer off of it with a brush it is creamy goes on smooth and very pigmented. Worth it...and will purchase again.

I cannot tell you how many compliments that I get on a nearly daily basis on this beautiful blue color. When I'm at a checkout line at the grocery store or talking to people the blue stands out - BIG TIME! I haven't seen this shade on Tarte's website in awhile so I hope it's not discontinued because I have had to hunt it down from third parties which I hate to do but I gotta have my Tarte Cobalt Blue gel eyeliner. Please bring it back!!! :-)

I love this product and am super-disappointed that it is being discontinued. I have very sensitive skin and it's really challenging to find products that don't irritate my skin and are also cruelty-free. I hope that Tarte will be replacing it with a similar product or will consider bringing it back in the near future.

Sad!

I use an angled eyeliner brush to draw the wing. It is very buildable until it dries (which takes a few minutes). I'm in love with the rose gold color! There's a lot of shimmer with it and it is absolutely gorgeous. It does start to irritate my eyes if I leave it on for too long say 8+ hours but other than that it is perfect. Great for both day & night looks!

love!

i have been looking for a new black pot eyeliner for ages as it's fun to play with and i'm trying to cut back on liquid liner-applicator waste. i also have trouble finding one that stays put - this one does amazing even in the humid new york summer! as far as my makeup personality - i am mostly dramatic liner/mascara or a bright lip. but now that i have a mask on most of the time i need more eye options. the fact that this stays on and there's so many colors is gonna save me! yay!

love it can't wait to buy more colors

Overall this eyeliner is awesome! It lasts pretty long but the best part is it doesn't burn my eyes or irritate them as so many others have. It could apply darker but I've tried so many long-lasting eyeliners and it's great to find one that lasts and is much more "clean" than the rest! Thank you Tarte!

Great for sensitive eyes

I liked this liner when I first started using it but ran into problems with it drying out quickly. I had more than half the pot left and had to toss it. The cap doesnt screw on tightly enough to be completely air tight. This lasts longer than the Mac gel liner.

Ok but dries out.

I was hoping the formula would be similar to the clay paint. I loved the bronze one that was discontinued. Sadly this formula isn't as creamy and drying. Dries too fast to get a good smooth wing. Maybe it's just mine. Will use but not likely to rebuy.

It's ok.

1 star for the black 5 for brown and blackened plum. The black Shade was unmanageable brand new. Impossible to pick up on a brush or even swatch with my finger. Inglot Duraline didn't even help and I have revived many things with that. I love the other ones but I had to throw the black pot out brand new. There would be no way to line with that when I couldn't even swatch it.

Disappointed in one; love the others

This is the absolute worst makeup product I have ever used in my life. There are a few things tarte does incredibly well (ie AC blush) but there are a LOT of things that are just objectively complete and utter failures. This has been dimming my opinion of Tarte over the years. Usually I don't want to bother wasting my time buying and returning their products but sometimes I give them a chance. Here they failed once again and at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they start selling makeup at the dollar store because that is where this product belongs. What's so bad about it you ask? You have to build it up to get even color. An eyeliner. YOU HAVE TO BUILD UP AN EYELINER TO GET EVEN COLOR. Huh? What? This makes my makeup routine take at least 5 minutes longer than normal. I don't want to take 10 minutes putting on BROWN EYELINER. And then it's "waterproof". K. Haven't tested that yet but like if half of it fades off after 2 hours does it really need to be waterproof? I am just so angry that whoever approved this product is employed in the makeup industry. I feel like a knockoff from China might have been better quality.

Fire whoever approved this formula
