[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This T-fal garlic press has got to be the absolute best press I have ever used. Does a great job of pressing garlic to a fine cook-able consistency or to eat raw garlic on salad or anything else. The removable basket means easy cleaning, and that is certainly a plus for me. The basket will hold three to four cloves at a time and mince's garlic easily without to much force being applied, so much better than my old garlic presser, which was very hard to clean and press. Very happy with performance and recommend this T-fal garlic press very highly. Great value for the price. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Great Tfal Garlic Press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, LOVE this garlic press. It's an attractive steel with a comfortable to hold thick black handle, very sturdy and easy to use. It is made well with thick steel and rolled edges, and I know it will last for years. My favorite things about it are the removable cup which makes it so much easier to clean, and the hammer press to cup ratio, which is tight and allows for no garlic creeping up and out of the sides of the hammer. This thing presses the entire clove thru the cup without waste. My friend tried it and said she liked it better than the one she owned. Very impressive for the price point.

Finest press I've ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free T-fal Basics Stainless Steel Garlic Press to review. The garlic press is about 7 ½” long by 2 ½” wide when fully closed. The main operating portion of the garlic press is stainless steel and the handle is black plastic. The main arm of the garlic press swings open almost to ¾ way back so it makes it easy to load in even larger sized cloves. The area that holds the cloves is quite large. It is 1 ½” long x 1” wide. You can see from my picture that there is a removable basket to place cloves in. Then I swing the arm back into place, squeeze the handles together and the attached pusher pushes the garlic through the basket holes. The shell of the clove remains in the basket to clean out. I like the idea of the removable basket because it makes it easy to clean after use. It also makes it easy to load a clove into the basket first and then place it into the main holder. The removable basket is nice however I found that sometimes after I pressed the cloves that the pusher stuck to the clove shell and pulled the basket up out of the holder. This was not a problem if I was only doing one clove, but when I was going to do several, I had to keep popping the basket back in for each clove. I also found that for storage that I ended up putting the whole press into a plastic bag so the basket would not fall out when moved around in a drawer. The press is dishwasher safe, but I always wash my accessories by hand because it will add to the life of the plastic portion by not subjecting it to the extreme heat in the dishwasher. Overall, I give the T-fal Stainless Steel Garlic Press 4 stars because it works nicely and has nice features.

Easy to Use & Easy to Clean

Its Not Working For ME, performance is not great!

The Garlic Press

I'm not sure how this product got high reviews. That's actually why I bought this in the first place, due to the high reviews. This doesn't press all the garlic out, and the outer layer of the garlic (not talking about the peel; I put in peeled garlic gloves) gets stuck inside the little area and prevents the rest of the garlic from squeezing out. I'm stuck spending more time trying to scrape it out from the opposite side instead. And the detachable container comes out too quickly and ends up being a problem when trying to scrapes out. Wish I never bought it and stuck to a grater instead.

Takes forever …

Not a fan. Disappointed. The garlic press is in two parts. The little cup-like part that holds the garlic clove detaches and will easily be lost in the storage drawer.

Not a fan

I bought this looking at the reviews on the product. I can't imagine why someone would rate this product with 5 stars. Sure it has a removable cup which makes it easy to clean. But it doesn't work well. It requires a lot of effort to press the garlic clove well. I'm going to return this thing.

Misleading "honest" promotional reviews

It's very easy to clean but the garlic gets stuck in the removable seive and hard to press...
