Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Magnificent Seven (Blu-ray) Stellar cast The Magnificent Seven was not the greatest western movie ever made. However, the movie had a stellar cast including young actors Steve McQueen, James Corburn, and Charles Bronson. I especially enjoyed watching McQueen's movements which were designed to draw attention to himself. Keep a close eye on McQueen. Overall, the movie's importance was that it allowed me to visit young actors of the past and remind me that once upon a time there were real Hollywood actors. In addition, the Blu-ray transfer was good and Elmer Bernstein's score was excellent, one of the best.
