Description & Features+

The classic confrontation between good and evil continues! "The Untouchables" returns to DVD, with the first 16 episodes from Season Three, digitally remastered, on DVD for the first time ever! Detailing the real-life cases of federal agent Eliot Ness (Robert Stack), the hit crime series co-stars Paul Picerni, Nicholas Georgiade, Abel Fernandez, and Steve London. With its top-notch production values and film noir visual style, this 4-disc set is television at its best, with brilliant acting, writing, and directing! In this volume, it looks like Frank Nitti's evil empire might be crumbling - but then heroin becomes the new drug of choice. Now the rivalry between Ness and Nitti intensifies, with the entire proceedings narrated by columnist Walter Winchell. "The Untouchables" are back, cleaning up Chicago one precinct at a time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Untouchables I like old TV shows like The Untouchables because they show the evil of crime and that if you commit crimes you'll get punished. Crime is not glamorized as it is in many TV Shows today. I don't recommend it for families with young children because of the violence, etc. Even though the good guys get the bad guys, it can be depressing to view so much crime.
