Walmart was able to get two Thomas the train  to my nephews in California quickly and at the time they said that they promised

Twins nephews first experience with Thomas

Mt Grandson is 2 1/2 and had played with his Thomas the train and tracks I have built him for hours at a time. This train addition is great, it has more power and an extra cart to pull. I will say this, the train that came with the track runs for hours on the 2 AA batteries. We have left and went shopping only to find he left it running, it is like the energizer bunny it just keeps going and going. On that note I do not use cheap batteries in it. For his age he has been great about not taking the track apart, the last one I built had the big hills and a couple of cross overs. I do have to adjust the supports on occasion, but over all it all has held up well. Must say he is not a destructive child, he seems to understand these supports have to be there for it to work. He does like to sit little Minions on the track and watch Thomas run over them and push them off the track. I have had no problem with anything breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taking and sounds effects were great additions to a more than usual degree of movement expected from similar small moving toys. The carrying car was a nice addition for those that didn't have a whole series of other Trackmaster accessories to join onto it. The on/off feature from multiple button presses was also a thoughtful addition to the product.

He also thought with descriptive words, as the grip on the wheels and the movement, how it even moves on the rug freely, as (I don't have tracks at my house). 
New phrases added when the button was touched  and how Thomas sounded like a real train. He also thought it was better than his former Thomas motor train.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son recently became obsessed with all things Thomas, and this was the perfect first Thomas toy for him. We don't have any track pieces yet, but it easily moved around our carpeted living room. My son loves the fact that it talks as well. This has become a new favorite toy for him.

The only thing that its bit small. Rest are ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited for my grandson to play with the Talking Thomas, he's in to Thomas & Friends. The train offered a lot of great sounds, and great movement on and off the carpet. Which thankfully had him playing for a while. My grandson wasn't that gentle with it, so I was glad it was made well, and could withstand the play of a 3 year old. Not like other similar toys that will not go on the carpet or break after a minutes of play.

My son wanted a Thomas train for his toy train tracks. I ordered this online because it's a talking Thomas & none was available in store at that time. But it was suppose to come on Wednesday of Jan last week but then got changed to Friday then again to next Monday . But my son couldn't wait he got whatever available in store thinking his mom never gonna get anything. So we had to return this, as my son didn't wanted 2 as he already got one blue color thomas train.
Wanted to try it out. But couldn't.
