I have had acne most of my life. I have been using Benzoyl Peroxide and numerous other treatments. I recently started using Differin, which works great, but all of the cleansers I use cause reactions with it. This one is gentle enough to not cause any reactions and cleans my skin very thoroughly of all the excess oils. This plus Differin have all but cured about 98% of my acne.

I'm currently two weeks post-partum and have had some pimples popping up as a result of hormone changes. I started using this within the last few weeks of my pregnancy, especially where hormones were making my skin a little bit more oily and  am impressed with how effective it is!

I'm familiar with tea tree oil and always have a bottle on hand at my house. Some products with tea tree don't contain enough of the oil to work at helping pimples, but the Thursday Plantation foaming face wash does an excellent job. It dries pimples out without making the rest of your skin feeling dry. The foam is really gentle and isn't heavily fragranced with chemical scents like many products on the market. This face wash just feels refreshing and clean.

I love that this doesnt sting or itch while it works it magic. I've been using it alongside the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree gel and find the combo particularly effective. Even 2 weeks post-partum, the wash is still gentle enough to use on my skin!

Highly recommend picking up a bottle of this, and while you're at it, some of their gel as well. Normally I'd want to post a picture of the products in use, but new mom-life has made those kind of pictures a little more tricky! If you end up trying Thursday Plantation products or have before, let me know - I'd love to know what you thought of them and if there are other products in their line you recommend!

It did not dry out my face nor leave it irritated. However i did find the tea tree scent a bit much in the shower with steam.  But overall was a good product.

Thursday plantation face wash

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Foam Face wash everyday. It gave my face a fresh, clean feeling. It removed the oil from my combination skin and left my face feeling soft. There was a bit of tightness afterwards but it was minimal and wouldn't change my use of the face wash. Having a mousturizer to use after cleansing would be great.

The acne that was trapped under my skin came through and was able to heal and go away with no peeling or scarring.

That being said, this cleanser left my face feeling super clean, refreshed, and ready to take on the day. Paired with the acne gel, my skin has never felt better. I will definitely be on the look out for other products by this brand to try - but despite the scent, this face wash was pretty good.

I also noticed a difference in the oiliness of my skin when I woke up, but unfortunately after 7 days of usage I noticed small bumps all over my face. Most cleansers do break me out, so I think this could work well for the average person with oily skin.

Great foam, but…

I like how substantial the container itself feels. The face wash is pretty good, but I'm not sure if I would reach for it over the ones I use now.

Good foaming cleanser

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used this face wash until it was gone just to see if it would need time to work. My skin was extremely irritated the whole time using this and I'd say I started having more breakouts . Once I went to my aesthetician for a treatment she told me to stop using it immediately as it was irritating my skin too much and this is actually known in doing so.

Would not recommend

It gets into your nostrils and doesn't wanna leave. I didn't find it helped with my acne at all. There are better products out there that work best on my skin. Worth a try if nothing else has helped you though!

Feels clean but the smell isn't good
