Beautiful Baby Mobile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this mobile us over $50, we still think it's Fun. 3 month old loves how each arm spins as it goes around. She follows it with her eyes. There's also music and other sounds that can be played. It needs C battery so make sure you purchase these if you don't have them when you buy it.

Fun, Spinning, Musical Mobile

Great mobile

I received this mobile through the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my son was 5.5 months old. Based on the safety recommendations, he was too big for safe use of the mobile.  The cool part is that the unit is still very functional!  It serves as a sound machine/nightlight.  I think it's awesome that the mobile can be used past the limited time when mobiles are safe.  I also like that it would eliminate the need for purchasing a secondary sound machine/music device.  I've been turning it on every night when I put him down for bed, and he is learning to quickly calm and go to sleep.  I did put the mobile together and found it a bit tricky, but once together it seemed very well made and sturdy.  Overall, I think it's a great multi-use product!

Multi-use Mobile

I was given this baby mobile to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Having never used a mobile in the past, this was new for all of us.   Assembly was a breeze. Most of the pieces click together with latches that you can press to disassemble it. The only tool you will need is a Phillips screwdriver to install the 3 C sized batteries.   Using this product is very straightforward. There is a switch for on/off as well as turning the nightlight off. There are buttons for volume and the rest are for changing the song. My 1 year old figured out quickly that he can tap the large button in the center to change the song. The mount seems to be able to securely affix it to a wide variety of cribs. No tools are needed to mount the mobile to the crib. The volume adjustment is adequate. It will get pretty loud or turn down to a gentle whisper. The volume buttons are along the top edge so they are harder for a child to turn it all the way up on their own.   Since beginning to use this mobile, he has been entertaining himself in his crib until I'm able to get to him. I also have a newborn that I might be feeding at the time that my 1 year old wakes up. This alone makes using this mobile worth it!

The mobile that dreams are made of!

This mobile was sent to me through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. At first, I was a little deterred because it requires 3 C batteries that I did not have lying around the house. I bought batteries and started putting it together. It was so easy to put together I didn't even use the instructions. It was also so simple to add on to our crib. It took less than 5 minutes for set up. My baby loves to watch the ceiling fans so I was assuming he would love the mobile and he definitely does! It is so cute and has a lot of settings and doesn't move around too fast. I think he could watch it for hours if I let him! I also love that you have the option to take the mobile off and using it as a handheld carry around toy for him when he gets a little older. It's like 2 toys in 1! I think the colors and animals are cute and pretty neutral too so they can fit well into different nursery decors. When I briefly looked for a good mobile for his nursery a lot of the ones I found you had to buy the stand to hook onto the crib separately or they didn't move around which I didn't like. I ended up not getting a mobile then but I'm glad I have this one now, especially for when we have another child. If I could give it a 4.5 that would be my actual rating due to the annoying battery size but I don't think that makes it lose a whole point so I went with 5! I would definitely recommend this mobile.

My 8 month old loves it

I love that this mobile grows and becomes a stand alone music box! My son loved that  we could bring this into his playroom where he could still play with it. I also love that there is a white noise option because we were able to bring this on a short overnight trip, versus our main sound machine. Super versatile and grows with baby. He can now stand in his crib and would try to grab the mobile but enjoyed the bright colors and cute animals. He would clap every time we turned it on. Grows with Baby!

I received this product as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel. The mobil was easy to put together. The screw cap to hold the mobile on was crooked so am unsure if this was impacting the motion. My daughter can roll to her tummy so we wouldn't be able to use this in mobile mode. It is very large and I don't think we would have used this for sleeping on her crib. I did enjoy the volume control range and the variety of sounds/music. The mobile also takes C batteries which we generally do not have. This was a big negative. I do like that the mobile converts to a music player so there are other options once the baby grows out of the first phase. However, it is still a bit bulky and the music is set so am unsure on the utility relative to other music players. Overall, it was ok but not the best quality and very large.
