"Top Gear USA" is back for a second season with more super-cars, speed, extreme stunts and showcases than ever before! Ratings & Reviews+

Top Gear USA: The Complete Second Season is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a hilarious continuation of the show, but the constant profanity detracts from the fun. I own all three released seasons, and only on this one is the language not edited (although they miss some on season three). The show is loved by my two sons, ages 7 and 4, but I have to mute season two, if they watch it. I am also glad they have gone away from the celebrity challenge in season three, and do fewer car reviews. Having the show mostly about car challenges and fun is what makes it great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Funnier than the first season, BUT... Let's cut to the chase. There's no question at all that 'the Gearheads' (Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood) are funny as heck (the "Big Rigs" episode is laugh out loud funny, in fact!), but there is a subject that needs to be brought to the fore: the language. While certain words are bleeped out on the History Channel broadcasts, here, they're aired for all to hear. It does tend to ruin it for those viewers (like myself) who possibly believe there's no room for it on a History Channel program (or anywhere else, for that matter). It's mainly the reason I couldn't give it five stars. Warner Home Video could have at least come out with an alternate version (like they did with the recent Whose Line Is It Anyway? best of), so we could have a choice. Recommended for households without children (sorry, but it had to be said).
