Description & Features+

The Transformers battle explodes into uncharted territory when the Titans Return! To control an ancient race of giant, city-sized warriors -- the Titans -- the Transformers must harness the power of Titan Masters, smaller bots that give bigger bots enhanced abilities in battle. Join the battle with Transformers Generations Titans Returns figures.

Optimus Prime will stand against any threat. Autobot Apex helps him face enemies that even the Autobot Commander cannot face alone. The Titan Master carries a portion of the spark, and power, of Optimus Prime, increasing the legendary warrior's already immense ability. With that boost to his systems, he charges into battle as Powermaster Optimus Prime.

This Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime figure comes with a Titan Master Autobot Apex figure. The Autobot Apex figure becomes the head of the Powermaster Optimus Prime figure. Unite them and power up for battle.

Titan Master figures can become the head for any Deluxe Class, Voyager Class, or Leader Class Titans Return figures. Unite this Titan Master Autobot Apex figure with other bots to create different combinations, or unite other Titan Master figures with this Powermaster Optimus Prime figure. Additional figures are each sold separately. Subject to availability.

This Triple Changer Powermaster Optimus Prime figure converts between robot, tractor trailer, and city modes. It converts from robot to tractor trailer in 21 steps, and from tractor trailer to city in 10. In city mode, the figure connects to the Titans Return Fortress Maximus figure to form a Cybertron City. Fortress Maximus figure is sold separately. Subject to availability.

The Titan Master Autobot Apex figure converts from robot to head and back in 1 step. When the Powermaster Optimus Prime figure is in vehicle and city modes, the Autobot Apex figure fits inside. Also includes a blaster accessory and character card with tech specs.

Transformers Generations Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime and Autobot Apex Action Figures is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titans Return PM Prime Heavy retool of the Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus figure. Transforms easily, though I found a few of the leg parts didn't tab so well without using a bit of force. Excellent playability. Great update of a G1 classic. Wait for Walmart to restock though. He's nice at their $44.97 price point, but not at the 3rd party's of $59.97!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from He was my first For nostalgia purposes alone a love this guy. Powermaster Prime from the 80's was my first optimus prime, so naturally I was going to pick him up. I paid the regular retail along with site to store (none of this over priced gouging that these third party sellers do on this site once walmart runs out). He feels nice and solid. I disagree with the cheapness feel that a previous reviewer mentioned. His chest is a bit odd looking but i get that they were going for a more modern update. Poseability can be limited but mainly due to the legs. You can still get some cool poses out of him though. Truck mode is both a great homage, and one problem i have with the figure. There is absolutely no reason why they couldnt have remolded the cab to look like a G1 optimus cab instead of reusing the cab from Ultra Magnus. It just looks odd to me. I'll be mainly keeping him in robot mode, so this is a minor gripe. I highly recommend this especially if you grew up with him in the 80's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feels cheap and hollow. I've been collecting Transformers toys for the better part of 30 years, and many of the recent toys show clear signs of cost-cutting and profit maximization. Powermaster Prime is a solid example of this. When I opened the package I was amazed at how light and thin he felt. His plastic feels cheap like it will splinter if the toy falls off a shelf of a child plays with it too roughly. PM Prime is a re-mold of the Ultra Magnus toy that was released a few months ago as part of the "Combiner Wars" Transformers toy lines and the quality of plastic on Ultra Magnus is significantly higher. If you have the two toys, one feels like a real Transformer and the other feels like a knock-off. The difference in materials is that drastic. As far as the rest of the toy goes, it looks nice and is a good redesign of the original Power Master Optimus Prime from the 80's. The robot mode is decently poseable, though his legs are hard to pose because they are so chunky. The inside of the arms are very visible hollow, but they feel solid. The helmet used to turn the Titan Master pilot into Optimus Prime looks good and can rotate a full 360 degrees. The truck mode is OK. The trailer is attached so you can't play with the trailer separately from the cab like you could with the older toys. Doors on the back open and you can fit a few deluxe class or smaller figures inside. This toy offers a "battle station" mode, but honesty it is pretty terrible. Nothing tabs together, and it is hard to get the legs and trailer plates to sit flat as shown in the photos on the box. It is clear this mode is a real afterthought. Over all I really like the idea behind this toy, but it feels like something you might buy at a dollar store. For $45 you should expect much better build quality.
