Come on, it's G1 Optimus prime with updates. A much better figure with better plastic and less stickers, transforms very well nice tight joints from truck to robot and even the trailer with all its accessories.

The placeholder tag and title were still in place at time of purchase. This is actually the Walmart exclusive 40th Anniversary G1 Optimus Prime in cartoon deco, which includes the trailer. This includes the Roller launcher although now the missiles no longer launch. Overall, great looking set.

Optimus at his Prime

We finally got a G1 recreation of Optimus prime with a trailer for under $100. Nuff said!

There are a few differences between this and the original, as well as other re-issues. you don't have to put any stickers on as all the designs are painted. Also, there are no springs so the missiles don't launch. Bummer, but not a huge knock. we're enjoying it!

The  real thing

A great toy in 1984 and a great toy now. This is the best reissue of the original Optimus Prime maybe ever. The new cartoon inspired colors make it a great addition to G1 collections even if you already have an original. The new molds they're using look nearly identical to an untrained eye, Here's hoping they release a traditional toy colored version in the future

The Return Of Optimus Prime

So glad I was able to snag two of these while still in-stock. The second being on sale is even better.

Same mold and same die cast parts as the Optimus Prime I had as a kid in 1984. Yeah, the colors and such match the cartoon for better and worse (no decals in the trailer) but it is absolutely amazing to me that I can buy a proper brand new OP in 2024.

amazing nostalgia

Optimus Prime deserves all the glory, but this figure just misses the mark. The design is spot-on and full of nostalgia—like having my childhood hero back on my shelf. However, the quality could be sturdier, and for the price, the value feels a bit off. It's definitely more for display than play, so while it's age-appropriate, younger fans might find it less engaging. Great for collectors, but not quite ‘Prime' for everyone.

Cheaply made. I know it's a toy but $80 come on man and this is the best you could do more like $40
