Ratings & Reviews+

Twilight Zone: Volume 01, The is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic from another dimension! I bought this mainly to see "Night of the Meek," a memorable episode where Art Carney plays Santa Claus at a department store at Christmas. I saw this show when it originally aired many years ago in 1960, and I have never been able to put it entirely out of my mind. I had grown up watching "The Honeymooners" with my grandparents, and I just adored the comic genius Carney displayed when he interacted with the great Gleason. But I was unprepared to see what a fine dramatic actor he had become since that time. This episode is one of the most remarkable Twilight Zone episodes ever. You can feel the magical spell of the Christmas environment, and the story remains timeless, heart-breaking and genuinely affecting. The other episodes on this disc are also of high quality. Highly recommended, a journey not to be missed....there's a signpost up ahead, you're entering the Twilight Zone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New DVD with video oldies to treasure The films are fifty years old...I was a child then and I loved seeing the episodes when they were new. The re-mastered films are excellent and of fine quality. Unfortunately U.P.S. delivered the products a week late but Walmart was prompt in her delivery
