Twister Moves Hip Hop Spots Electronic Dance Game - French is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Fun and Exercise This is not your old hands-on-the-floormat Twister game! Also made by Hasbro, the new Twister Moves Hip Hop Spots Electronic Dance Game encourages constant movement on your feet and it's a wonderful source of cardiovascular exercise. The object of the game is to follow the lights, hop on the spots and keep up with the beats. The levels are beginner, advanced, pro and freestyle. You can play solo or challenge someone. As you keep up with the beats, you unlock new levels. There is a Twister Moves Tracker that digitally counts your score (this is sold separately). Each song is 60-90 seconds. The game will alert you every time you make 500 steps. The game is easy to put together. It comes in five pieces: the control center and four coordinating spots. All you need to supply is a Phillips cross head screwdriver to open the safety battery compartment and three AA batteries. It is very easy to open and close. Then you insert each color coordinated spot into the slot with the matching color and you are ready to go. This game is recommended for ages 8 and up. Even though it lights up, it is not recommended for play in total darkness to avoid injuries. Great fun for about $20! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun game for all ages! Okay so.... this is cool... it doesnt come with a volume level switch but it is not to loud. But that would of been nice. No on and off switch. Push a button it starts the game. Stop using it then it stops on its own. Multiple skill levels. One player or more one player.... to store it. Push the circle down and pull them out. If they slip out which doesnt happen to often just push back in. Very durable. Insyead of standing on a flat surface to do it you can sit and press the right one. I am like most parents always on the hunt for ways to keep kids up and active. I signed her up for a basic hip hop dance class with her cousin. This has hip hop rythms, lights, and easy quick game instructions. Easy assembly. Came packaged very well. Paper type rope which i appriciate! Taked with tape and cardboard. Every parent absolutely hates getting new products out of the first time. I do. So easy to remove packaging that was also packaged securly in my hook gets high marks. First thing out of my nine year old daughters mouth was this is really fun mom. To start the instructions say to start on the red and yellow. I pushed the grey hutton but whatever works. Music will start to play. To get the best score make sure to hit the lit up color in time with the beat. Each song lasts 60 to z90 seconds. After each it will light up and tell you your score. If you get a score 3 or 4 spots you advance to the next. If not you try again. As the levels get higher so do the moves. Now you have to push more then one spot at a time in tune to the music. Levels are beginner advanced and pro. Hey now, no shame in beginner level. When the batteries need changing the levels also get reset and will need to be passed to be unlocked again. Once you unlock all levels then you will be able to do a freestyle mode!! Hip hop spots will allert you each time you press it 500 times. To set up just use a screw driver to open the plastic battery cover and put in 3 AAA batteries. Tighten the screw. Pop in the circles to the matching light spot and off you go. Quick easy and really is fun. I highly recommend this game! Perfect for almost any age and a great addition to game night. I am disabled so i use my hands. Still very fun to see who can get to a higher level or when friends and family come over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice update to a classic I got this to give to my nieces ages 10 & 12 I got this as I wanted something to get the kids to enjoy a game I played as a child but with music and moves now! Watching them reminded me just so much fun and addictive this game was and is. It's also a great way to get kids, teens, and adults, preferably with rhythm, up and moving. The object is to follow the light and step on the pads as they light up. You get points for every correct step you make and bonus points for hitting the light pads in time to the beat of the music it play, which also adds to the fun. I recommend getting a second person to help out when you get to the harder rounds because you can assign two colors to each person when they start coming faster. The only two concerns I have are 1)durability because the pads you step on are just made of plastic and with all that stomping and jumping that occurs it seems like it's only a matter of time before the pads will crack 2) no power switch. Overall, for a gift for pre-teens and down it is a nice way to get them to interact. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Groovin’ and Moovin’ My daughter loves Hip Hop music and enjoys this game greatly. It is easy to assemble; I just put 3 AA batteries in the center unit and firmly inserted the four plastic foot paddles. It worked fine with no problems, although I would have appreciated some way to control the sound level. Not ear blasting, but it got to me after a while. The game's audio tells you to select one or two players by depressing a specific colored paddle, then the music begins and you simply step on the paddle when it’s coordinating light lights up. It gets harder because the lights come faster as you advance through the game levels. My daughter liked it and spent a while playing with it alone, and then trying to coax the dog to step on the correct paddles. She was excited to have a friend come over and play with her, and that is my favorite part. She has autism and usually plays alone. I can’t wait to take this to a baby shower next weekend, to keep the kids playing while we moms chat. Overall this is a cute, fun game, and it's nice that it provides some physical activity, and can be played alone or in pairs. My child and her friend aren’t just sitting down playing it, or sitting side by side playing video games. They got a bit winded and seemed to get quite a workout, this flurry of activity oxygenated their brains and body, and they enjoyed it. We didn’t have any trouble with the paddles coming out of the game center while playing, like some other reviewers mentioned. I removed them to store the game back in the box, although I think I might leave it assembled in the future so they don’t become loose. I may even purchase the accessories to increase participation and fun, if I find them at a reasonable price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
