I read the reviews , I wanted to try it my self its very good I like it ..other reviewers mentioned that it stops produce steam after 2 weeks but the truth is you have to read the instruction curfully ..you have to add a little bit of Salt to the water container ,which I did every time I saw the evaporator start to stop steaming I add salt ..that's it and it's very good price as well!!

Very good

I had a vaporizer for over 25 years and used it very often every time anyone in the family had a cold and found it very useful. It finally quit working and we moved so I decided to get another one when my daughter got a sinus infection recently I decided it was time to get another one. It helped very much and I like the fact that it uses vapor pods rather than messy gel. I like it a lot and would certainly buy another one if the need ever arose.

This one of the best steamers I have ever purchased.  I used it in my room while I had a nasty cold bug. It created enough steam/humidity for the whole house. The windows were all foggy!!

Cost Effective Warm Steam Vapourizer

Humidifier

I purchased this humidifier to use in my bedroom - we are expecting a new baby any day and I like using a humidifier with a baby - both for the white noise and the helpful added moisture in the winter!
I love the price of this - it was the most affordable one I'd found online!
It is easy to use/set up.
I was a little disappointed at how much space it took up - it's a rounded-edged square type shape and is about 12x12" (? not sure - I didn't measure it), which was hard to find a place to put it where it wouldn't be in the way but would be level and in a useful place.
I was extremely disappointed that it specifically says in the instructions that you cannot put any medicines or liquids other than water in it. I really thought that being a Vicks brand, it would have the feature where you can add Vicks to it to help with congestion and such. But oh, well.
I have run this each night for the last two weeks or so, and have only had to re-fill it four times. I check it each night before bed, though, I would hate to burn up the motor from my own stupidity! :-)
It's not a noisy or gurgly humidifier, it just makes a steady hissing/fan type noise, and the moist air it puts out isn't "COLD," just room temperature.
I would buy it again - it was a good deal and is working great!

Got 2 of these for about 3 weeks and have been using them in 2 small bedrooms. Both are performing pretty much the same, vaporizing very slowly, even after I added salt to them. I have followed all the instruction in operation and cleaning process but just not getting the expected result, not sure why.

This vaporizer works well, I have found that when I didn't put that much water in it didn't produce as much steam and it wasn't as powerful coming out but when I put water up fairly close to the max line much more steam came out and was much more powerful. The thing I personally don't like about this vaporizer is the shape, when it's full of a lot of water it's very bulky to hold much more awkward and feels more unstable in your hands.

Doesnt produce enough steam. Had an older model of vicks and thought it was just defective. Bought this one and same thing.  After it evaporates half of the container, the other half never evaporates even after 48hours

Not enough steam

The steam making rods decompose and leave plenty of scale bits in the tank after it has all been evaporated. At this rate these vapourizers probably won't last more than 2 years. Don't know if there are any parts you can order for these
