I was sold on the big name floor cleaners where you either need replacement wet pads or replacement cleaner. Sorry, but those costs add up quickly and the thought just seemed like throwing money away. Plus, who wants to make a special trip to a store to buy them when you run out? Nothing about them makes any sense. I feel that the Vileda Spray Mop changes all that. It's cheaper to buy up front (or close to the same anyways) and you get a great scrubbing pad that has some bristles with a slightly rougher texture to really grab onto grime. You can use whatever cleaner you like, which for us, is important because I only use non-toxic cleaners that I make myself. You don't even want to know what goes into thise pre-moistened cloths or the cleaner in the other big brand. Plus those cleaners have suffocating scent and with chemical sensitivities in iur house, that is just a no go. This is our 2nd Vileda mop. We used our first one for years and years with no problems. Just lately, the trigger became very hard to pull and it started to leak. But this is after about 6 years or so. This bew one has a release button for the cleaner reservoir and rhe trigger is even easier than rhe last kne when it was new. We love it AND we're saving money and using less toxic cleaners.

Convenient and saves money!

I bought this less than a month ago to replace a spray mop that no longer sprayed. I was very pleased with how evenly the most came out and how smoothly it slid on my floors. I have 2 children and a dog so messes happen often In my household so this is a great product for my family.

Cleans great

I find this new improved version to be much better than their older model.
It sprays much better, easy easier to remove the solution container and it is a little longer than the original model.
I've only had it a short while so we will see if the design flaws of its predecessor are the same, as in "stops spraying".

I am adhering to the strict "2 tsps. of solution to a full container of water, AND, spray it out dry before putting it away.
Time will tell if it holds up.

Nice new features

This mop is very simple and easy to use. It's also lightweight enough that I can work quickly with it. The solution container pops out with a push of a button and snaps back in easily. The spray radius is prettyimpressive. I like the velcro attachment for the head.

Easy to use & lightweight

I did buy this a couple of weeks ago and... I love it! For use between big floor washing, it's great! And you use your own cleaning products. It's much more eco than a throwaway pad and bottle! I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Love it, love it, love it!

I have notice that many people find the pump breaks. The Vileda website says "Do not fill bottle with any corrosive or disinfectant cleaners". A corrosive or disinfectant cleaner will break down the mechanism in the pump - it will do it of most spray pumps. I have not had a problem. I use handmade crochet pads for mine and it rocks.

I use mine 3-4 times every week. Loved it because it made my life so easy. However, I've had 2 broken mops in 5 months. The spring went crazy in one and so the bottle wouldn't lock into it. I used to remove the bottle after every use to prevent any possible corroding, didn't help though.
With my 2nd mop, I felt that excessive taking out and putting back in of the bottle was a problem, so I kep the bottle in after using it, and the plastic part came off and the handle stopped working.
The pad is awesome though. I haven't had to get a new pad in 5 mths, switched the mops but kept using the older pad...it was just so Good.
Can't afford to buy another one of these this time. Going to look into another product.

Very convenient but poor quality

I am on my 3rd one. The clip that holds the bottle in breaks every time.
Poor quality.

Poor design

Bought this mop twice. I had no problems with the first, then moved across the country and bought a new one. It worked for the first month and then stopped working. I tried the recommendations from the company and still did not work. Will not buy this again

Great until it stops working

Save your $ and buy a different brand or a Vileda without the spray feature. Like many others, mechanism stopped working and Vileda refuses to acknowledge the problem with the spray mechanism blaming it on "quantity and type of cleaner used". I have dollar store spray bottles that work better.
