I really liked the concept of this to help get my child moving while playing. Unfortunately after replacing the original batteries, we found that Casey moves so fast that he falls over; sometimes on the baby. We have tried to change modes and flooring (tile to carpet) to help, but he still falls over. When he does fall over, I have to go over and stand him up. My child only played with him for about 5 minutes before he got tired of it having to be picked up for the 12th time.

Terrible balance

we bought this for my son for his birthday, he picked it out himself after he saw it dancing in the box. we brought it home and I didn't even know it moved around until I took it out of the box. He loves it even more now! He takes it around the house with him, he loves chasing the toy around and dancing with it. One thing I really love about the toy is that when the batteries are low in it Casey will say "I feel tired" which let's you know to change the batteries. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it seems like after I changed the batteries the sensors don't work as well now, I guess if there's a reset button I'll try that to see if it helps, though.

Casey!

We loved the chase me Casey. The kids ages ranged from 8 months 2 years and 5 years. This toy will be a favorite for many years. We loved how everyone could play with it! The songs are very cute.  It annoying like other toys. Only thing is it did not work well on our high plush carpet. “The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.”

Loving our Casey!

I have twin granddaughters, when I first saw the Chase Me Casey I loved it. I bought one for my grandbabies and they loved it! They love the lights and singing and when it dances and “runs away” they watch intently and go after it. It's so fun to watch them play and learn with this fun and unique toy!

After reading the good reviews, I decided to order this monkey for my 8 month old son from Walmart's website; however, a defective one was sent to my house yesterday. It looks like someone returned it because it has a few marks on the monkey's face and it does not run as it is supposed to. Feel disappointed.

Received a defective one

My daughter received this for Christmas when she was about eight months old.  When she first got it she enjoyed watching it roll around all over the living room but she didn't really  enjoy it to its full potential because her  coordination wasn't there yet . I put it away until she was older, she is now 14 months,  she loves it!  I highly recommend replacing the batteries if you think it runs a little week, if it starts logging in acting up changing the batteries fixed mine right up and made it so much stronger than the batteries it came with! Great toy

Great toy

I like the durability of the product. The granddaughter was afraid of it at first so she was a little rough with him. 
I also like the way it lights up the shapes, dances and sings. Cute overall for the prices.

My granddaughter absolutely loves it...it was for her 2nd Birthday she loves monkeys and loves chasing him around and it helps teach her things....I highly recommend this item!!!!!

My one year old is terrified of it, but it's a great toy. It really does move around great and it turns itself around before running into walls or other objects. It has great songs
