this hand gun is far more realistic than some of the others out on the market. I purchased this piece to teach a friend how to safely and effectively use a hand gun without having to book too much time at the local federal range. Nice feel close to the actual weight of real hand guns. I will buy a couple more.

FANTASTIC teaching tool

This walther cp99 is powerful besides his perfect presicion and good comfortable grasp for transpotar.lo only one is the system to change them co2 is inconvinient but once dominate it sera perfectly ... it notices to support lubricated for good condition

Picked this up today as I wanted something with the blowback feature. Pretty cool item and it does have weight to it and a realistic appearance. This will only shoot bb's, no pellets.
My only complaint is with loading the CO2 cartridge. It was a challenge to get it set and ready. Worked like a charm when I finally got it going.

Neat pistol

This is my 2nd blowback pistol and I decided to go with a BB gun since BBs are cheaper than pellets. The drawback is that the velocity isn't as high as a pellet gun(about the same shooting power as a Red Ryder BB gun) and the accuracy isn't quite as good as a pellet gun with a rifled barrel. Also, the way the CO2 is tightened into this gun is different from most other CO2 guns and you really have to tighten it down good with your thumb before twisting the outer screw into place. There are some good videos on YouTube that demonstrate the proper way to do this and I highly recommend them. The positives are that the gun is a ton of fun to shoot. I love the blowback action and the slide locks back when the magazine is empty. It is a great plinking gun - especially for those who have a trap target for indoor shooting since the velocity is lower than a comparable pellet gun. Overall, I am satisfied and I'm glad I made this purchase.

Nice pistol for plinking fun

Heavy duty bb gun. Shoots about 70 bbs per CO2 tank. The only thing that is a pain is installing the CO2 because you have to twist the bottom. Ive lost about 6 out of 10 tanks because of that.

Instructions 3A states "Tighten the (CO2) capsule into place by turning the brass screw clockwise". There is no brass screw. It is black, and jammed so will not turn. After using a penny as a shim for first CO2, the screw became free to turn so now is functional. Have difficulty getting CO2 cartridge to seal, but I understand that is common problem with Crossman cartridges. So totally wasted the second cartridge. BB's roll out end of the barrel often, and told that is because I was not using the proper bb's. On the third CO2 cylinder the slide hangs up about .3 inches from completely closing. So have to tap it closed for next shot. I placed a call to service, and rep there blamed everything on the crossman CO2 cartridges and zink plated steel bb's. But he did admit there might be a problem with the slide action, but claimed it likely due to the CO2. I'm not buying all of that, and returning it to Wal-Mart.
Oh, also it was sold as a package with bb's (shipped direct) and the bb's have not been shipped yet (2 weeks now). Also I have to use water pump pliers to turn the bottom piercing knob to pierce the cartridge. Again this could be problem with the Crossman brand cartridges. ???

Overall a disappoint purchase.

Fails to operate properly

I will be sending this item back. For 70 bucks I expect it to work. The o2 chamber doesn't work at all. I bought this for my sons birthday and he doesn't even get to use it instead we will be sending time returning it. Very disappointed

Doesn't work

Blowback slide jammed and would not go foward after 4 co2s, really had high hopes maybe just got a bad one...it does happen in the airgun world of china and taiwan made products some are definately better than others.
