The WeeRide™ Co-Pilot is a great way to get children enthusiastic about riding a bike. The Co-Pilot easily attaches onto the seat post of most adult bikes. The universal hitch easily removes for single adult riding. The Co-Pilot helps train children in the concept of riding a bike independently. It is a shared experience with the adult. It enables the child to assist the adult in powering the bike and share the balance. It is held firmly in the upright position and hinges so that cornering is a breeze. The child can use the pedals to push forward but coast when pedals are held stationary or pedaled backwards.Shown assembled. Some Assembly required upon delivery

My 3 year old son and I love the wee rider. We are able to go on long bike rides together and I know he is safe on the back of the bike. It is sturdy and well worth the price. We looked at other ones that were just as good and were up to $200.

Great bike for the price.

assembly was a breeze... the flag was flimsy after initial installation. what i did was wrap a thin strip of rubber around the end of the pole before securing it. my 5yo son and I did a 5 mile break in and everything seems to be fine. no squeaky sound or any weird noise. all in all i'm so happy with my purchase... for $69+tax its a steal!

quality meets affordability...

The trailer arrived well packed and free of any damage. No manufacturing defects, no missing parts. Assembly was quick. Handlebars and seat were easy to adjust to my 6-y.o. son. He likes riding it a lot! I anticipate that we'll get at least 3 years our of this purchase before he grows out of it and graduates to his own bike for the long rides.

An excellent, no-nonsense product

I bought this so I can save some money on gas and use it to pick up my first grader from school.
After my husband and I put it together, my 7 year old daughter and I tested it out, and it was a big hit!
She had so much fun, and she is begging me to go on it all of the time.
Now I don't have to worry about finding a parking spot in front of the school, plus I can save money and get some excercise too.
The price was very reasonable compared to other stores and models.
Overall we are very pleased. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love this!

I love it!! We just got it yesterday in the mail for my big 3 1/2 yr old. Pretty simple to assemble! She has excellent balance on it!!! No problems what so ever. I even made her wear her elbow pads and knee pads the first 2 times she rode on it, but low and behold, it's actually pretty darned safe! I'm very pleased with it, and hope this helps anyone who is skeptical :)

VERY MUCH WORTH THE $$$$!!

I recommend this product.

the item comes in a box small enough to fit in most trunks or back seats,

I got it home and assembled it within 15 minutes, very simple and all you need is the allen it came with and a phillips screw driver.

First the Cons:

The back mudflap is flimsy *trash*
the chainguard was rubbing the chain
you definately feel the weight of it behind you
and the gearing is to where the kids can't really
help THAT much. and my trunk bag barely fits

Pro's:
ITS CHEAP

this thing meets all expectations my 4 year old
daughter fits on it PERFECT at its lowest setting
I had to put the handlebar mount on backwards
and put the seat all the way down but it fits her like a glove and she loves it

it is easy to install after you think about it
first remove your seat stem, install the trailer then reinsert your seat stem. its made of STEEL so you're gonna feel its weight, but its not so heavy you can't do a ten mile run on it if you so desired. it folds up tiny, if you keep your allens you can disassemble it smaller if you prefer.

room for growth, I think this thing will work for several years to come, I would guess most 9 year olds could use it.

notes:
It is heavy, I've pulled kiddie trailers before and never really noticed it that much I think its mostly cuz those are made of aluminum and mostly nylon, this thing is steel and you definitely feel it.

it hinders your mobility a lil (duh) I can no longer pop a wheelie over about 6 inches so curbs are now just a tad harder.

I barely have clearance for my trunk bag, but it does fit if you have a large trunk bag you may not be able to use it and this at the same time.

I have a seat stem with a shock in it, with how the trailer mounts I have to have the stem up about an inch higher than I normally had it, I'm considering going back to a normal style stem, or buying a stem and seat just for this device.

I HIGHLY recommend this product for short <10 mile trek's.

Works Great.

Twin boys, one with a mild case of CP - so he has trouble getting his 2-wheeler w/training wheels to work yet, but always wants to follow his brother and dad when we bike-ride.

Got this unit which was simple to put together, hooked it to my bike, and off we went. We love it. Now we all get to bike together and we're really enjoying it. The pedaling is excellent exercise for him and he doesn't have to worry about steering or balancing yet.

I was surprised at the fair price, the unit is very solid. The only parts that are a little cheap is the back fender (removed it already) and the chain-guard - both a light, metal construction. The back fender would get bumped as he was getting on and off the unit and would ended up scraping against the tire. The chain guard does the same thing - the slightest jarring of the unit causes it to scrape against the chain as he pedals. Might try to find a replacement cover at a local bike store - I think plastic or rubber would make for a better chain guard.

Other than those two quirks this is an excellent unit for the price - and has brought so much joy to my boys, as we all get to bike together now. Highly recommended, :)

6 yr old son loves biking now, :)

I ordered this for my 5 year old so that we can go on family bike rides and he doesn't have to keep up with us. Looked at higher priced ones, but the only difference I notice is that it is heavier than the others (that were twice as much). It folds so that you can store/throw it in the back of your car/suv and is easy to assemble.

Great for the price

We bought the wee ride co-pilot about a month ago and have taken it on several rides since then. It is easy to attach and detach from my bike, and the foldable feature for storage is great. It is hard for me to unfold though but hubby has no problem. Both my 7 year old who can ride a 2 wheeler and my 3 yr old who currently uses training wheels were able to easily get the hang of it. Shipping was fast too!

glad we bought it!

We bought this for our granddaughter who just turned 4. It would be great but you need to have at least a 21 1/2" inseam to be able to reach the pedals with the seat all of the way down. She only has a 15 1/2" in seam. Our 7 year old granddaughter can barely reach it. We are going to have to make some type of an adaption but can't do much or the pedals with drag on the ground.

This bike attracted lots of attention around my neighbour and in campsite. My kids love it. The online deal is great with free shipping. Only if there are more colours to choose from to match my bike colour.

fun to ride
