Speed

Easy to assemble, speedy delivery, and perfect packaging. It has the option of pivoting to blow the air around the room or staying fixed in one direction continuously with three speeds for air and three speeds of pivoting. Only complaint is that I expected it to be taller and able to work standing on the floor but it works best on top of my bedroom dresser.

Worth the money

An excellent choice. The advantages following freedom from a 'Remote' control (which always hid when wanted) include simplicity. Three speeds stationary, three speeds when set to oscillate. Speed 1 is quiet, Speed 2 is not quite as quiet(slight whooshing sound), Speed 3 really whooshes.
The oscillating setting has the same sound signatures as the stationary setting, with the addition of a soft 'click' at one end of the oscillations of one of the fans.
I have used tower fans that had a remote control, but find these 2 tower fans very handy to move air around my bedroom

Westinghouse fans win!

New fan

Worked for the first week, then the oscillating part of it got really clunky and loud. And now it barely moves side to side. The fan works so that's cool

Works fairly well, and isn't overly loud, compared to other less expensive fans.. But, I ordered two, and the settings are wrong on one of them. When you switch through the different speeds, and the oscillating/not settings, the wrong setting (not the one the dot on the knob is pointed at) comes on. It's not a deal breaker, so I won't waste the effort exchanging it, but it's a little odd/confusing.

Decent for the price, but defective settings knob

I bought this fan at the start of May 2022 for my Toronto apartment and it is TERRIBLE - right from the box it was immediately disappointing.  Even though it's not the cheapest fan at Walmart, it has such a weak fan motor that you have to put your hand RIGHT IN FRONT of the tower just to feel any air movement.  It also says that there are 3 x speeds on the fan, but there is NO DIFFERENCE between the 3 settings.  DO NOT BUY!  HUGE WASTE OF MONEY.

Got it home and set up, plugged it in to turn it on and it was broken.
