I've been using this set for my recent cake decorating and baking, and the results are fantastic. The colors are incredibly vibrant and concentrated, so a little goes a long way in achieving the perfect shade without thinning out my frosting or batter.

The colors are bold and vibrant very easy to use if you are a beginner also could use scoopers to use the colors but besides that this product is great

Vibrant colors

These are great even for the casual cake decorator. Being gel they mix in easier and smoother than paste and they don't make your frosting runny like liquid food colors.

I would recommend this product

I was shocked to learn how vibrant and easy to cleanup this coloring worked! I'm pretty messy so I placed an old towel down before mixing and decorating cookies. My hands washed right up… no stains on my fingernails! Even the towel I used was full of coloring gel… one hot rinse and not a single mark. My cookies were a hit too!

What? No staining food coloring? Amazing!

These work well for icing. I made cookies for my son's birthday and this was a good set to make the colors I needed.

Very nice set of colors, all primary colors and other necessary colors for making common cake decorations. Doesn't flavor and colors nicely with very little product.

Great color kit!

I love the Wilton gel colors. I decorate cookies and they always give me a good color with using little amounts of the color. It doesn't have a taste that changes the icing. They are awesome!

Gel colors rock!! No

I personally prefer food coloring that comes in tubes because they are less messy and don't require inserting a toothpick to get the amount wanted constantly, good color variety

Love the colors, not the mess!

Wilton colors have always seemed so rich and just a little goes a long way, but the red and green get you to dark pink and lighter green at best. I was disappointed with this set.

A little light

Although the title of this product gets your attention by stating it's a GEL food colorant, it  is NOT a gel based food coloring. It is water based and if you use this product to make the macaron cookie shell, you will be very disappointed with the results. Too much moisture! The title is a misleading representation of this product.
